First bit of news is that Tim Duncan is going to start in place of Yao. Looks like Pop went with the homer pick, but Duncan was arguably not even worthy of an all-star nod in the first place. Should have been Pau, especially in LA.

I think Pop is trying to win.

I'll miss everything other than the all star game. Birthday parties and stuff :(

I better get laid to compensate for missing the dunk contest.

It won't be funny if I yell "Griffin!" in the middle of making love.

I'm missing the **** Dunk Contest too, cuz of work. I'd rather miss the Rookie game (obviously) or the ASG even... the DC is the most fun to watch live with friends, while I can watch any of those games DVRed by myself. Fuuuckkkk

I was just looking at some ticket brokers around the LA area that I frequent for my Laker tickets, and I knew the prices were going to be high, but damn, I didn't know the prices would be insane lol.

For Friday's Rookie/Sophomore game:
Nosebleeds I found are around $40-$50 at the cheapest.

For Saturday's Events (3-pt Shootout, Dunk Contest, etc.):
Nosebleeds I found are around $300.

For Sunday's All-Star game:
Nosebleeds I have seen for as low as $850, while lower-level in the 100-sections are damn near $2,000.

I think I might just go to the Rookie/Sophomore game as that's he only one I can afford lol. I also just want to experience All-Star weekend because who knows when it will be back in LA.

Not bad, Lakers game prices..

I really wanna just be around Staples sometime during this break, since it'll be a long while til the game is here again.

I said way before the voting was done that Duncan shouldn't have made it, in fact there was an argument here about it on this board. Duncan has no damn business being here in LA this weekend.

That said I'll be taking in the events around Staples this weekend, going to be fun just like it was in '04.
