10 Day Contracts

Post#1 » by retiredcoach » Fri Feb 18, 2011 5:58 am

For 10 day contracts, the Jazz could take a look at Chris Johnson C, Marques Blakely C and Dar Tucker F.

They could also take a chance on signing Jon Scheyer G from Duke who had an eye injury and had to sit out for awhile. He looks like he may be close to being fully back.

He might sign for the NBA minimum or close to it. The Jazz could leave him in the D-league for the rest of this year and play him in the summer league if there is one. He could wind up being a good 2 guard in a one or two years. He probably couldn't help this year.

We need a 5 to move Jefferson to the 4. Millsap can help out the bench scoring.

Jeffers is a great choice. He knows the system and can play 2/3. We can get a big man when we trade Kirlinko next week!

Agreed, except that he doesn't stretch the floor at all as he can't shoot the 3. Otherwise, he has the makings to be a good 8 min a night producer.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Your right...Kind of seems like he'd be Jeremy Evans without the vertical.

Jeffers can rebound with the best of them though. I'd like to see him get a 10 day.
