Donnie better not mess thiss up

I wonder if they want both Gallo AND Chandler. IF he refuses to swap the two then i have a problem with that, but if he is just saying you cant have both, then i dont mind him playing with them a little longer. In the end if he has to give up both though I think he does it. Depends what else is in this "deal" though.

Even if its just Gallo and Chandler, that's fair...enough...to just go ahead, do the deal, get the guy you obviously want and make the **** happy.

Not surprising. Mike D'Antoni is pushing the breaks hard on trading Gallo.

My offer would be Gallo + Mozgov + AR

Felton, Chandler & Fields are the players I most want to keep and in that order.
Play time is over.

Obviously Den saying that the deal is done and Nets playing along not saying anything. Den just playing poker when they already showed their hand.

If it's true CAA scheduled the meetings with Prokhorov and Dolan then the writing is on the wall IMO. I'm pessimistic about the outcome. Melo's camp will tell Dolan there's a trade agreement with NJ so :
- either the Knicks accept to give the Nuggets what they want
- or Melo will accept a trade to NJ and sign the extension

Basically, either Dolan will overrule Walsh and pull the trigger himself or he will let Walsh make the decision and will probably resent Walsh and use that as an excuse not to renew Donnie's contract. Probably not this year. He may exercise the option on Donnie's contract for 2011-2012 but will let him walk in 2012.

Like I said yesterday, the Nuggets aren't amateurs. Melo's an amateur. The Nuggets and CAA played their cards well. They didn't schedule a meeting with GMs but only with owners. When push comes to shove, they know there's a good chance it won't be basketball decision but a pride decision. Dolan will probably refuse to let Prokhorov win. It will be an embarassment for him to let Melo go to NJ after he met him face to face. Remember how Dolan was upset after the "blueprint for greatness" billboard last summer. Meeting could end up a trap for the Knicks. If it was Walsh I wouldn't worry about it but with Dolan I think he will never let Prokhorov win and won't care if the trade costs us four starters and draft picks.

That's awesome news. I'm glad Donnie's not letting nutless and impatient fools like Dolan and Pharmcat **** this up. He's clearly in this to build us into a contender, and that means we can't offer more than a Pau Gasol type offer unless we want to give up on Paul/Deron and be stuck with Toney Douglas as our eventual starting PG, once Chauncey Billups' corpse fell apart, especially since we'd be prohibitive favorites to sign Melo in FA unless he's a really vindictive bitch, in which case I'm cool without him.

Keeping Chandler is worthless. We aren't paying him next year.

Wow this is really getting embarrassing.

Memo to the Nyets:

Save yourself from further humiliation and give up!

This is like an ex who is trying to avoid you at all costs.

Get the freaking message!
