Guys you can not trade a player and then trade for that player back in the same deal. a 2 part deal is considered the same deal. I did receive complaints that this deal is circumventing the CBA, but since you did list it as 2 seperate trades, I am going to look at it as 2 seperate trades, (unless Miller objects). For future deals, at least make 2 seperate posts, maybe even wait a half hour or so

The Timberwolves are far enough under the cap to swallow the $2,882,153 that is the difference between the teams.

Timberwolves wanted Ibaka bad, we love his longterm potential as a great defensive piece, and he has been developing some offensive game lately as well. We take on a few prospects as well as pick up a nice point guard in Maynor to back up Rindour until Rubio comes over. Losing Afllalo is hard, but replacing him with Thabo improves our defense as well.

OKC accepts. I know many GM's will bash me for this trade, but I couldn't care less. Upgrading Thabo to Afflalo is a huge boost as Afflalo provides just as good D while 10000x better offense that could further accompany KD. And while losing Ibaka is pretty hard, we're confident of snatching up another good defensive big man in the future. Getting Conley is nice too since I could now fully concentrate on shopping Westbrook without worrying about my PG depth. Good trade fam.
