If Melo gets traded within the the next 48, does he get to play for the East in the ASG?

This is what I've been saying would be the most I'd be willing to give up. If they want Gallo, take out Fields and nix the Felton/Billups swap.

I read on another board that they came out of the meeting and deals not close and Melo is meeting with NJ tomorrow

It's a Trickle down effect

Melo gonna put 5-10 Million of that new 65 Million into Real Estate, State Tax gets a few extra Million, Landry Fields gets to sell Carmelo Anthony Jerseys at Modell's and so on and soforth

Last year we never had a player who commanded double teams and we didn't have a good ball distributor either, this year we've added both. Its possible that D'antoni is the one holding him back.. a coaching change might do him good.

Fields is more of a small forward than he is a two guard. He can't cover good 2 guards and he can't handle the ball like a 2. He was a 3 at stanford his whole career. Have you seen the trouble he has guarding two guards?

Of course no ! East and West rosters are set. Melo will play with the West no matter what happens in the next two days.
