Knicks have to be careful. Can't give up too much or they RUIN their playoff chances.

You guys still saying you won't do it if it means swapping gallo for fields? That's a bit ridiculous....

This "Gallo can shoot" thing is annoying because his percentages aren't great for some sort of elite shooter. He's a good shooter but he's also very inconsistent. Fields is a guy all teams should have. He does it all and he already gives you more than Gallo would in a game. He can keep getting better as well.

I disagree. Gallo has the kind of talent to drop 40 points in a playoff game, having Gallo here with Billups/Melo/Amare is like having our own big 4 to match Boston's. Also Azubuike is supposedly close to 100% and will be able to step right in the starting 2-guard spot and replace what Fields gives us.

Ummm, you know Cali is in a different time zone, right???? Cotdammit :-?

You realize it's already afternoon there too, right? Nothing has been mentioned about this since Asshola reported it. And nobody else has mentioned this either besides him.

What were you expecting, a live broadcast of the conference call on RealGM? Hey good idea actually.

You might want to give it 4-6 hours and see what Asshola says next.

I'm not worried about the Nets trade talk especially after reading Melo's quote.

""Anthony, speaking Friday at a NBA Cares Day of Service event in Los Angeles, said "no meeting at all" is scheduled with the Nets. Calling it "news to me," Anthony said: "If I was to meet with that guy [Prokhorov] to be honest I really don't know what I would say.""

Translation: There is nothing I can say that you already know. He doesn't want to play for the Nets.

Not only does he want to play for the Knicks but he sees how Lebron walked away like a coward and got slammed for it. Melo likes the spotlight and is not scared to play for the biggest city in the world. Through good and bad, Knick fans which represent a good majority of true New Yorkers still root for the Knicks and want to see them succeed. The Nets in Brooklyn will bring New Jersey fans that rarely showed up to games and hope to steel Knick fans.

The Brooklyn Dodgers and NY Giants (baseball) moved out of NY because the Yankees own NY. The Nets can move to Brooklyn but it will take years for any hope if ever to have a shot at owning NBA basketball in NYC.
