Melo: Oh yeah?
Reporter: You're meeting with Jigga and them
Melo: News to me
Reporter: You're close to signing an extension with the Nets
Melo: the who?
Reporter: You like brooklyn dont ya?
Melo: the Wha??

This is trade you hate until the players suit up. It'll work. The pieces missing definitely can be had. Give me Shannon Brown and Taking on the project of Thabeet on this team and id be happy.

I'm over the Chandler/Gallo debate.....I really....REALLY don't want to give up Felton. :(

That's the main problem for me too. Felton was our backup plan if the CBA makes it impossible to get Paul or WIlliams. Now what?

For what it's worth, I'm pulling for you guys to get Melo. It gets him out of the Blazers conference and means the Blazers will likely get Harris from NJ. Not here trolling. I'm just amazed people are this obsessed with freaking Gallinari. He's not THAT good, sorry.

None of the players you guys are trading are even close to All Star level (sorry, just the truth) and you're getting a a HOF player in his PRIME. And 90% of the posters here can stop complaining.... If I were you guys, I'd be partying like crazy right now.

I hope we really made that offer, I think that's the best we can and should do, I'd be really happy if we can keep Fields and Moz so our starting lineup is actually balanced.

We'll probably get Gallo back for the MLE in a few years anyway.

ANd his agent.... no blame? Stern's CBA scare tactics.... No blame? Nyets for being patsy's... No blame? Just Melo right?

Melo had the power to nullify every single one of those factors, but chose not to.

So no, just him.

DUDE.... GONYK.... he says that and in No way or shape or form does NY even bother trying hard to trade for him... they would've offered Denver a garbage package that would not have been worth them taking. Uriji knew what he got in toronto for Bosh after the fact or what the Cavs got after the fact for James. Denver absolutely would have just kept him and got the cap relief from letting him walk. He wanted his extension. Point blank.

I want every delusional poster to get 2012 out of their brains, it aint happening the world isn't ending and we're not getting no damn All start caliber point guard.

Get ready for 20mpg of Toney Douglas playing a PG thats a loss in it's self.

I feel for Felton, he stood up for his Teammates and Dolan kicks him out town the next day

I'm with those who are saying we have to stop complaining. If this is the deal that goes down, we get to keep two of the young guys we love while getting arguably the best scorer in the game. Assuming we don't F up our cap situation with the fillers, we still have flexibility to make a run at the 2012 PG's. If Billups doesn't bitch about a buyout I'm not sure how anybody can complain about that deal.
