We will be blowing up the squad for another round in the playoffs.

So you would rather have Denver sent back to the basketball stone-age by Melo screwing them over?

Confused.

I think some are being greedy.

Just my two cents.

Say what? 2nd best rookie in his class? :o

My guess would be that donnie is on the phone with kahn right now. I think this is a done deal. And right now its just about the finishing touches.

These guys are both good players. Bill Walker has had a very high 3PT %, same as Shawne Williams. TD has shown that he is a capable guard ... well most nights.

We are not as deep as before but it's not like we are really thin either and our young guys still have talent.

I look at this trade as Gallo for Melo in many ways -- Felton for Billups is a loss but not a big one. Chandler had to go for Melo by signing.

I think some are being greedy.

Just my two cents.

Any trade that guarantees Bill Walker a roster spot is a trade that deserves, at the very least, to be bemoaned for a day or two.

I am reasonable, I'm pissed at Melo not coming through when we needed him and costing us Gallo and Felton, but I'll live. In 2 weeks, I might even approve of it. But as of right now, knowing that it didn't have to go down like this, it's leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

ECF ceiling would be nice. I think he just made us the new Hawks.

I agree. Just wanted to try and be semi-optimistic. We also have a one year window unless the salary cap comes in around 65 million.

You expect him to have a meeting while he's coaching the game?

now walsh has to get to work. try to get a steal in the draft again. attract ring chasing vets. look overseas like you did with moz. we can still get better.

And unlike the Nyets, we have all our picks but 2012. AR is like a free pick.

We have our own pick this year if Houston misses the playoffs.

And then 2013 and beyond without any encumbrances.

Correct?

Walsh got handcuffed by dumbass Dolan, who felt threatened by Prokorov (and was probably pushed by Isiah to go visit Melo).

We are giving up more than we should.

Absolutely. Denver is in no position to bargain here. Jersey is out of it too considering the whole deal is predicated on Melo signing an extension he won't sign. Why cave now when the nugs are getting more and more desperate

This is OK but steep. We stop there.

I think that has to be our final offer.

Still not sure how that beats Favors, Harris and four 1st round draft picks but we will see.
Play time is over.

Yeah, so far we only lose a '12 pick. The '11 pick is at worst a swap.
