Nets haven't given up, they just want Melo.

Also, Melo claims there to be no meeting with the Nets.

KBerg_CBS "I don't know nothing about any meeting or anything." - Melo

I think Melo is scared that if he meets with them, they will close him on the deal. You don't become a billionaire by being a bad closer.

KBerg_CBS "I don't know where that came from. There's no meeting that's been set."

KBerg_CBS "There's some things that I'm still thinking about in the back of my head. I'm ready for this whole thing to be over with."

KBerg_CBS "I really don't know where that's at. I'm pretty sure the Nuggets are talking with NJ. ... I haven't been presented with any deals from ...

This is new--
KBerg_CBS On signing extension with NJ: "that's something I'm going to have to think about, deeply."

KBerg_CBS On signing extension with NJ: "that's something I'm going to have to think about, deeply."

KBerg_CBS On possibly re-signing with Denver: "I've told you guys this since day one, that's still an option."

KBerg_CBS "Do I feel like (Nuggets) want me anymore? I can't answer that question."

KBerg_CBS "Any team that the Denver Nuggets want to send me to, I would love to sit down with that team and find out what the future is."

KBerg_CBS Preference? "I can't really sit here and say I want to go here or I want to go there."

Whatever!

KBerg_CBS Losing $ as free agent? "That's why I'm about to go meet with Billy Hunter. I'm about to go to that meeting right now."

KBerg_CBS "The Nuggets know everything that I'm thinking. You gotta talk to them about that."

KBerg_CBS Last Melo tweet: on his way out, random credentialed person: "Welcome to New Jersey!" Can't make it up.

Didn't most of this contradict everything that has been reported.

They have been showing all the old dunk contests up here all week on NBA TV and I watched the cup cake dunk again last night.

It was a thing of beauty. I'm still shocked it wasn't an automatic 50.

Same with Dwights sticker dunk. That should have been a 50.

I would like it this year if the judges didn't vote until they saw every replay and slow-mo replay that the fans get to see. I think they rush to vote too quickly without truly understanding what just happened.

So option #1 is:

Melo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Sheldon Williams, Melvin Ely and Renaldo Balkman
for
Devin Harris, Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy, Ben Uzoh and four first-round draft picks

OR

Option #2:

Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups and salary cap filler
for
Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler, Eddy Curry and a first round pick

Shouldn't it be a no-brainer which is the better deal for Denver????

As much as I love Felts, 3rd best is hilarious. Unless you're talking air balls, then he's probably the best PG in the league at that.

One of these teams will overpay for Melo. I can understand New York wanting Melo this season but NJ makes little sense; if Melo really wants to play in NJ, he'll just sign there this Summer. If he doesn't, he'll go elsewhere. Why give up all of your assets now when the season is already lost?

Denver is the only team benefiting from a trade now. They'll get great assets instead of seeing their star walk away LeBron style.

Rose claims to have lost a lot on his vertical. I'd have to give it to someone else. Who, I'm not sure.

Nate Robinson bitches. Sure, he's not a great PG but the dude can hop like a crazed meth bunny.
