Felton and Billups are a wash, Chandler is gone anyway as an RFA. Would you guys want to pay Chandler? He's just like David Lee in that we knew he'd be gone, so what's the big deal?

Frank Isola from Daily News was on SNY Live and reported the Nuggets do not want Wilson Chandler because he becomes a restricted free agent after the season. They want Fields instead. They want Gallo, Fields, Curry, 1st round pick and Felton.

He also said Dolan has taken over the discussions on a possible trade instead of Walsh and D'antoni.

Walsh and D'Antoni think it's a bit too much.

Isiah is basically our GM through Dolan now.

We were already giving up almost too much, if they want more the Knicks should tell them to f*ck off. Hopefully Carmelo would see Denver was being ridiculous and be willing to wait.

KG & TKF I also started going to Knick games in the early 80's (41 yrs old) If the deal is what's been reported, than I can't be mad. MELO is a STUD fellas. As much as people feel we should wait til FA. Personally you can't take that risk.. IMO building around 2 STARS is easier than building around 1

This is the kind of package I expect to see for a lebron...probably the only player in the league who can take any 20 win team and make them a 50 win team.... other than that, I say buyer beware with most NBA players and gutting your team for them....

Were not totally gutted as were probably getting a couple of fillers (hoping Forbes is 1 of them) along with Mr. Big Shot. Though I hear ya Lebron analogy & MELO is no Lebron, he is a player you can build a franchise around & most importantly he want's to be a Knick.

I really believe he wants to walk the Canyon of Heroes holding that trophy that has eluded us for almost 40 years.

The nets were going to be brought in at this hour whether Melo liked it or not.. I wouldn't be surprised if they were called and news spread even if he came out publicly and denied them.

But at the end of the day, you can only take so much for granted from him. In a perfect world we'd get him for Curry and AR right now... but that wasn't going to happen regardless of the Nets.

And who knows what will end up happening now.
