which part of denver still wants fields + mozgov you did not hear? denver wants, denver gets. dolan is bending over and opening up his cheeks as we speak.

I saw a new poster claim that's what they want, and then I saw his post refuted by another poster. What info are you going by on this? In any event, I agree that if Fields or Mozgov were included, it would be a problem - Fields because of the way he plays and Mozgov because of his potential and the fact that he's our only legit center. I would hold firm on keeping Mozgov and one of Fields or Gallo.

yeah, but on how many shots.

What scares me is what Gallo can become with a coach who will use his talents correctly for the betterment of the team vs a coach that uses the team's style to fit the player.

carmelo still shoots 45% from the field and 83% from the line that is pretty effecient. also what people aren't taken into consideration in 4th qtr scoring where melo is one of the best finishers in the league and can make shots late when the defense intensity rises. Gallo right is too streaky to make a big enough impact late in playoff games

It's mind boggling that people are still complaining about possibly getting A'mare and Melo, yet ruining our chances at a 3rd max player...astonishing. Over Gallo and Chandler? Really???

this has nothing to do with being greedy. amare+melo with bunch of scrubs = fail.

A bunch of scrubs? We'd have Carmelo Anthony and A'mare Stoudamire...Chauncy Billups, he's not bad right? Fields, Mozgov, Douglas...a pick this year, a few 2nd rounders (we see what Walsh can do with those)...and some cap flexibility. I just don't know what else you want? We can't have our cake and eat it too...what is the alternative? Miami at 41-15 has 2 great players, 1 very good player, and a bunch of scrubs. This is a stars league...we saw what happened to Ewing, no 2nd star...now we might get two of the best and it's not good enough?

absolutely not. boston is the way to go. boston lineup has three players that they drafted/got as rookies. we will have nobody.

Perkins/Davis/Rondo??/Pierce

Perkins is gone, Davis is alright

Who else they got?

WTF are you talking about?

You want to trade for CP3 or Howard with cheap role players?

I'm a big Chandler fan but hey I won't be bitter if the Knicks trade him. The Gallo lovers are getting out of control.

You are missing the point entirely.

This has nothing to do with Gallo. Everything to do with Melo being a b*tch.

Get it straight.

Hilarious that some are hating Melon for wanting to get all of his money. The rumored package is still not enough for a top 10 player. And you are arguably getting a upgrade at PG (short term). Why should Melo shoulder the risk so you guys don't have to give fair value for him?

Come'on we have fields and Moz.

Not yet we don't. Watch Denver come back and ask for more.

Dolan should have said take it or leave it.... final offer.

Sarcasm in this thread is Great....

All in all though, whatever happens, I hope it happens soon, so we can get on with the rest of our season.

And 1 more thing... **** Denver. That is all...

I think both of you are misinterpreting what most of this discussion is about.

Except that's false. This team still has role players still has the same size we had pre trade, a more dynamic wing player, a better distributor, more defined roles for the bench, expectations for the coach which hopefully improves his coaching. I hate to say it but we come out a much better team with this trade.

WE CAN'T SIGN A SUPERSTAR. MELO IS GETTING HIS MONEY WHICH SUBSEQUENTLY KILLS OUR CAP SPACE. WE HAVE ALMOST NO CHANCE UNLESS THE CAP COMES IN AT AROUND 65 MILLION.
