Because I thought a ring was more important to him than money?

I saw a new poster claim that's what they want, and then I saw his post refuted by another poster. What info are you going by on this? In any event, I agree that if Fields or Mozgov were included, it would be a problem - Fields because of the way he plays and Mozgov because of his potential and the fact that he's our only legit center. I would hold firm on keeping Mozgov and one of Fields or Gallo.
hahn and fisola twitter. denver still wants fields and mozgov. they don't want chandler.
lol, the thread is clearly moving too fast for me to keep up. Well I certainly would not include Fields or Mozgov instead of Chandler. I think ultimately Denver will accept the Felton/Gallo/Chandler offer, which is already quite strong.

Except that's false. This team still has role players still has the same size we had pre trade, a more dynamic wing player, a better distributor, more defined roles for the bench, expectations for the coach which hopefully improves his coaching. I hate to say it but we come out a much better team with this trade.
who? walker and williams? which part of denver wants mozgov and fields part you do not understand?

Because that's what posters here are basically saying with their overly dramatic posts.
If you think Gallinari is some superstar ready to break out once he's traded then you need to stop drinking the kool-aid.

u realize the trade actually wont be official until after the all star game....that is why there will be so much speculation on changes to any deal. I'm sure the deal is pretty much set in stone they are just waiting until monday to announce it

The Knicks made an offer of Gallo, Chandler, Felton and a 1st for Melo and Billups.
All the Gallo fans became very upset.
Frank Isola said the Nuggets countered to flip Chandler for Fields.
Now everybody is upset.
Play time is over.

yeah, but on how many shots.
What scares me is what Gallo can become with a coach who will use his talents correctly for the betterment of the team vs a coach that uses the team's style to fit the player.
which is why I am getting ready for a lot of late nights up watching all of denvers game....
'CAN'T WAIT!!!!"

This is basketball, not twilight. There are no "Team Chandler" or "Team Gallo"s
If we were trading Gallo straight up for Melo I think every single poster on this board would be carrying him to Denver.

It's amazing how no1 brought up the most important point:
Amare doesn't assisst much yet all his assists go to FIELDS! Melo doesn't assist much either so I expect him to work well with fields too. No way we give him up. Decline. He can work in sync with even the most selfish players And costs us nothing.
And please enough overrating Felton. He chucks too many shots in the 4th. But I do feel bad for him because he was having a very fun time and was a hard worker model citizen. But get over it 4th quarter chucking got tiresome.
We slightly improve at best after the offer of Wilson, gallo,Felton
We don't improve if we trade fields instead of Wilson

You are missing the point entirely.
This has nothing to do with Gallo. Everything to do with Melo being a b*tch.
Get it straight.
That may not be your reason for being against the deal, but you certainly see TKF already becoming a Nugget fan, and dk7th claiming he's done with the Knicks (good riddance).
For me, I'm more upset that we're swapping Felton for Billups. I don't see us getting a 3rd max in 2012, so I'd rather have the 26 yr old PG who we could build around long-term. Plus, it just feels wrong to jettison the guy who gave his blood and sweat for this team for 50 games, only to be pushed out because some fans (and Dolan) think there's a bigger fish to catch in 2012.
If the deal was just Gallo/Chandler/1st for Melo, with no Billups/Felton included, I'd prefer that.

I hope billups doesn't report, and that douglas becomes our fulltime PG.... hahaha.. that would be great.. Honestly, billups should just threaten to retire..
It's not a deal until Denver agrees.... I am optimistic that they refuse this deal... and someone kidnaps Dolan for a week so there is no one to add to it.
Seriously TKF: based on Denver's MO THEY WILL ASK FOR MORE.... and then maybe if we are lucky, we will walk away and the trade won't happen.

I'm a big Chandler fan but hey I won't be bitter if the Knicks trade him. The Gallo lovers are getting out of control.
I think both of you are misinterpreting what most of this discussion is about.
I guarantee half of the people wouldn't be nearly as panicked if it were Fields in the deal instead of Gallo....It ain't about giving up too much, because any bball person would know the skill we'd be getting is worth it... it's about people not wanting to see their home grown boy Gallo leave, especially if it could have been done with out him... it's exactly as we say it is.

I should have added, except me because I'm the biggest Chandler homer
And the guys who wanted Melo at all costs are opening the champagne bottles.
IDK, intuition not logic tells me this deal doesn't happen.
Play time is over.
