Also not sure why people put this in the realm of the Crawford and Curry deals. Melo makes those two look like garbage.

TKF is sounding like a huge vagina right now. Dude, man up. Nobody wants to see Gallo go, except those psycho Ill Will supporters. But this is a necessary sacrifice for the greater good.

Wait until Melo starts dropping 35-40 points every other night. You won't even remember the Cock.

What's funny is people once supported these moves and now they trash them.

Revisionist history is amazing.

Please, hold on to your pants.

Can we revisit about ninety minutes ago when you riled everybody up with a false story?

Everybody knows Im one of Gallo's biggest supporters here bar none. Ive been in the middle of every Gallo/Chandler debate, defended Gallo at every turn, and wanted to see him on this team when the going got good...

But he is never going to reach his potential on this team. Not with Dantoni's stupid system or Melo and Amare hogging the ball, while playing his positions.

I think Gallo is undoubtedly better than Fields though (Fields is only a SG by default) and would have rather kept him as the BPA, but I think hes going to blow up in Denver if he takes to it. Hopefully Karl will use him like I envisioned. Put him in the mid range, letting him make plays, getting him consistent touches, not shooting as many threes, etc. it could end up being the best thing for his career. So while the selfish Gallo fan in me obviously wants Gallo to stay and is pissed off, I cant be too mad at this deal as long as Fields stays out of it.

Im a Knicks fan first. It hurts to lose my favorite player on the team, and a guy who I think has the talent to be an All Star, but the writing was on the wall as soon as Dolan took things over, the Nets reappeared, and Melo b*tched out.

All I know is Melo better step up and become that top 5 player he can be. I want a championship. Im sure Celtic fans were mad when they traded Al Jefferson, but it was worth it when they won a ring. Well I want a ring. So I wish Melo and Amare good health and to get the f*ckin job done.

Please remember that Billups still has game. Melo will take much pressure off of the rookies and his shoulders are definitely big enough. We still have Douglas, Walker, Ronnie and Williams on the bench. Plus who ever else Denver sends over. This team is not nearly as "GUTTED" as some claim it will be. We still have plenty of youth and 2 players that are at the pentacle of their positions. The Sun will rise tomorrow and I'll take my chances with Melo, gladly.

Well that's the problem right there.

Real easy to deflect blame on "Gallo lovers", when its just rational Knicks lover who are furious after witnessing Carmelo Anthony compromise our ability to build a contender so he could get paid. We had a chance to be a real contender. Now we're just a cap-locked team led by one dimensional, me-first players at terrible value when taking into account the black cloud looming on the horizon (the cba).

Compromise? Our plan from the beginning has been 'get stars here'.... it hasn't been 'get stars, but only if we get them for free.... and can keep gallo'.

I co-sign this 100%.

I don't want it to get twisted. I am a Knick fan. I will be one when this trade goes through. But right now, this very second, I hate Melo for his weakness.

When the press conference starts and I see him holding his jersey, I will accept him into the family.

Until then, f*ck him.

I can't believe people don't see what a big steal this is for us. We're losing one good player. Chandler. Felton's good too but he's a wash with BIllups. The other two suck plain and simple.

+1. People need to step back and regain their perspective. Painful to watch a grown man melt down so.

Bingo.

We overpaid because Melo wouldn't step up.

I guess you don't know me man, if you think I am going to be excited watching melo put up 35-40 points on 150 shots... Hey, maybe I am sounding like a big vagina, and I apologize...to everyone, but hey, I have 30 years invested here.. how about you? I am tired of being sucked in, only to be sucker punched.... I am hearing that both dantoni and walsh are against the deal.. why do you think that is the case? are they both gallo homers and vaginas?

this is overpaying to the extreme.. and we are not getting LEBRON!!!
