Denver is stepping on their own D**K. If this is true, they will have effectively demonstrated to Melo that they are not bargaining in good faith and that they intend to pigeonhole him to the Nets, whether he likes it or not. If Melo declines an extension with NJ, Denver is screwed. The Knicks will likely either pull their offer or reduce it. If this is true, than everyone will have to conclude that Denver is being spiteful.

Whether Moz and Fields were pushed to be included is pretty huge to be unknown... but as it says:

My only hope is that by tomorrow, the Felton/Billups swap is pulled for something more palatable...even if that means taking back Harrington (or Birdman). Or including our 2014 1st.

I'm not sure if these work under the salary cap, just throwing it out there.
