Woodson Would Move to Safety for Asomugha

Post#1 » by Mags FTW » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:50 am

In an interview today with our very own Jason "The Bears Still Suck" Wilde, Woodson states on the prospect of bringing in Asomugha:

"If I talked to to Dom, and he thought that was the best thing to win a championship I would do it...Why wouldn't I?"

Asomugha part starts at 8:10.

Nickel package of:

Tramon
Asomugha
Shields
Collins
Woodson

How many coverage sacks would that yield?

It's not TT's M.O. but you never know. Even though our secondary is good you can't just sit on things.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I get goosebumps when I think of that potential legendary secondary.

I had just come back in from a night out with my best friends, so I was already in a good mood. I poured some milk and cookies ( <3 ) read the thread title, and my eyes widened and I felt tingly in certain places.

Only because the girl who was flirting with me told me halfway through the party she had a boyfriend, still flirted with me the rest of the night though, and asked me to walk her home, so I did........Like a BOSS.

If this happens and any of the season is missed, I'm going to anti-fap myself to death.

If this happens, I don't see how any team could beat us if we ended up with a lead of any sort on them. Our pass defense would be epic.

There are ways to get both him and Jenkins under the cap, pessimists.

Barnett could be cut. Hawk could be restructured or cut, without much of a hit. We're paying 4 MLB's significant money going into next season. There is no impetus to keep them all. Tauscher could retire. We're unlikely to bring back Colledge and Jones, rather replace them with younger and cheaper guys.

We can get it done, and put an epic mix of young talent and veterans out on the field next year.

Nnamdi's hunger where the others may be a little satisfied would be ultra valuable. Given Woodson's renaissance after transferring to the Bay and Asomugha's obvious admiration for him; this is where I honestly believe he'll end up.

I agree it could be done and I'd be all for it. But its not pessimism to think it won't happen rather realism and acceptance about TT's MO
