Can you say Goodbye to Kaberle?
Its quite well known that Burke likes to have Canadians on his team and if not likes his "non north american" players to be tough and rugged. I mean when you look at the blueline he created in Anaheim every player is tough (even Scotty Niedermayer gets his nose dirty on occasion) Bergeron is fiesty and Schnieder can play physical when need be. I really couldnt see Burke being too much of a fan of Kaberle and his rather soft play in his own end and the fact he hardly ever use's his body. Fletcher already attempted to deal Kaberle at the deadline for Jeff Carter, Giroux and a first rounder but Kaberle nixed the deal. Do you think Burke would end up dealing Kaberle at some point if he becomes the teams next GM?

Kaberle should be traded regardless if Burke comes. He can net you some decent players/prospects. With Kubina, Strallman, and White, who can move the puck/skate...there is room to trade him. Not to mention if Colaiacovo can stay healthy, I think they can have a decent offensive, defense group.

The Coates signing seems a confirmation to me that Burke won't be here until next season. Not groundbreaking news, I know, but rather just a thought.
