And at the end of the day, he is a big reason for the NBA's continued success. Remember, when he came in, the NBA was coming off of a really rough stretch.

Success, sure, but he's created a whole host of problems that nobody wants to face.
Stern is slimy, arrogant, dirty, and plastic...and the league would be much better if he wasn't in power.

I see Sarver's point, it would be much simpler if the players and owners could speak freely without Stern and Billy Hunter having their say in it. And for everyone that says Stern saved the NBA who's to say someone else couldn't have done the same? If I recall it was Michael Jordan who really got everyone interested in the NBA again in the 90's.
