Why for LA? With CP3 on board, we feel Fisher is no longer needed. We'd like to wish him well for the future.

OKC accepts. While D-Fish is very limited these days, his veteran presence is a HUGE boost to any team who plans to contend for at least a couple more years before he's done. Just like us, we would like to have him on board since he can also bring his clutchness and winning ways here and teach the team what it takes to win a championship. He would also receive minutes at the backup PG spot and would see the floor in crunchtime and would be crucial to our success.

Looking over the rosters, i noticed the CLEVELAND CAVALIERS released a bunch of players.

He never posted, but The CHICAGO BULLS would like to sign Jamario Moon to a one year minimum deal, if that is allowed...

Thanks.

The Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers have finally come to a deal, ironically.

Bulls outgoing / Cavaliers incoming:

Jordan Crawford $1,042,320
Sheldon Williams $854,389
Brian Scalabrine $854,389
Sherron Collins $473,604
Total: $3,224,702 x 1.25% + 100,000 = 4,130,878 (Maximum Incoming)

Cleveland outgoing / Chicago Incoming:

Anthony Parker $2,855,769
Christian Eyenga $1,020,960
2011 2nd round pick from OKC
Total: $3,876,729

Salaries work, bearly.

Why?
Its a sad day in the Chi - Town. Losing Scalabrine will set this franchise back, but we feel we can rebuild fast. We also feel that Eyenga's potential / value / ceiling is about the same with Crawfords, if not more, so Anthony Parker is icing on the cake for us. Good dealing Cleveland.

Trade #59

The Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76'ers have agreed to the following:

Denver will send:

Thaddeus Young $2,901,240
2013 1st Round Pick
Total: 2,901,240

for

Marreese Speights $1,773,960
Jodie Meeks $762,195
Tony Battie $854,389
Total: 3,390,514

Deal works

Thad doesn't fit with our current setup and we needed more talent.

PHI accepts. Although it's tough to part with Meeks and Speights, we believe Young has great talent and like him as a good backup. We also get a 2013 first round pick which will help us down the road.

According to Cleveland's roster page he released the following:

5. Released Manny Harris, Samardo Samuels, Alonza Gee, Josh Powell, Jamario Moon, Leon Powe

Moon was already signed, and the Jazz would like to sign Manny Harris to a one year deal at the minimum.

LA would like to sign Leon Powe to a one year minimum. Also, looking at my roster page, it is needed to allow my Fisher trade to go through (57)
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Trade #60

Portland sends:
Jonny Flynn - $3,192,000
Andre Miller - $7,269,264

Philadelphia sends:
Chauncey Billups $13,150,000

Why?
Portland upgrades the point guard spot with a savvy vet who always seems to make the right play and is a very solid outside shooter. He may be getting old, but we feel he definitely will live up to his current contract for it's duration.

PHI accepts. Jonny Flynn gives me another 20 year old PG for the future of this team, and Miller is a solid backup to Holiday, or a good player in the trading market. I was going to trade Billups anyway, and this deal is an amazing one. Cleared spots in the deal #59, so now I have enough spots for this deal.
:D Nice dealing Portland.
