It will be even funnier considering Eddy is going to Minnesota. Christ could you imagine a frontline of Kevin Love and Eddy Curry? Old Country Buffet better watch out.

If Curry actually plays in Minnesota, Kevin Love is going to average 23 rebounds a night.

Why won't they end this madness so some other trades can happen?

I'm enjoying reading the Carmelo thread over in the Knicks forum. Every time a reporter/beat writer reports something, KG makes it out to be this big conspiracy to get the Knicks to pony up to the Nuggets asking price. It's quite entertaining.

It's the sex parties that gives them the edge. Buffets at sex parties? Count Eddy in.

The Russian is playing this pretty nicely.

Scenario 1 - Melo to NYK:
* He drives up the cost on a rival team to land a guy they were favorites to get the entire time.
* He could land some of their players in a follow up trade. I don't think this is done to steal Knicks fans per se, but I do think it would help some fans be more open to the Nets. Not a huge deal, but it is something...

Scenario 2 - NYK drops out/calls the bluff:
* Melo could fall right into his lap here. He wants the extension...he wants to be in NY. He could give in.

According to NBA sources, the latest version of the trade would see New York send Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Eddy Curry, Timofey Mozgov and a first-round pick to Denver for Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams and either Anthony Carter or Renaldo Balkman.

So, Minnesota's not involved anymore? And New York has given in on Mosgov?

and losing something either way. c'mon, man. he's a massive loser if he ends up w/ melo. the only way he's a winner is if this was some devious masterplan to drive up cost for the knicks. and i don't think he's THAT concerned about the fortunes of his primary rival

Maybe because he didn't read the internet, when he found out he could get a player at 25% of the cost of LeBron James, he thought it was a good deal.

Why would Denver prefer 2 firsts over Gallinari and Mozgov? Is one the Nets first this year?

There's been a long-standing rumor that the Nuggets remain unimpressed with Gallo. So maybe that's it.
