I would have done the same trade, but I hope in the future we can keep at least one of our core guys longer than four years. Not even Corey Brewer made it that long. :(

I'm going to miss his smile.

He was a favorite of mine. I remember defending him against JW. I really hope he blows up.

Lol, beat me to it. 8-)

You will be missed (by some of us) BREW CREW 22! BREW CREW 22!!

Stay thirsty my friends...

I actually was fortunate enough to meet Brewer once. He was a nice guy, and told me he was working hard to become better. That season he was definitely more aggressive. The only person remaining from that faithful night is JB Bickerstaff.....

I actually think he could do very well as a Knick, as long as that jumper falls and he stays in D'antoni's good graces.

a true bust..repeatedly dribbling the ball of his own feet..one of the worst offensive guard/forwards you will ever see..terrible basketball iq, couldnt figure out that when you drive, you can kick the ball to open teammates instead of the wild and crazy horrible layup..never seen a guy miss so many layups..he seems like a good dude tho, so best of luck

Sad to see him go, he was a nice guy, model NBA citizen and was active in the community. Bumped into him a few times in public in MN and was always friendly. I hope he can carve out an 03-04 Trenton Hassell type role somewhere during his career.

I really liked Brewer. It's always nice to have a guy who gave 100% effort no matter what. And I liked that he seemed to genuinely enjoy what he's doing (always smiling). It's just too bad that he never figured out how to slow the game down and play within himself or else he could have been a great role player for us.

One of my favorite players just because he hustles and gives his all every play. Hope he can have some success for NY.

Ice32 on suicide watch.

edit: I was always a fan of Brewer though. Sad to see him, and his almost spastic style of play, leave for good. Here's hoping he finds his niche with NY, provided he isn't re-dealt.

The BREWWWWWWWW!!!!!

Damn, well I think he will do well in an efficient up tempo style team so this might be a good trade for him.
