I don't think there's evidence of Mayo being that type of person. He was struggling a bit and they needed scoring punch off the bench, so they moved him into a different role. He (to my knowledge) has not been a team disruption at all. In fact, he may have been moved already if their owner didn't think so much of the guy, and is asking for a lot back in any deal.

I just think he represents the kind of young skilled SG we should invest in, versus hanging with Jax at the 2.

Nope-- Stay away from Mayo and Thebert. There is a good reason that Memphis wants them gone. Send Jax/Carroll somewhere else--Maybe to NJN for Murphy/Graham and 2011 1st... trade checker 5858792 Save big money/Graham backs up Hendo and /orWallace and we have 2 2011 picks in the low teens. Murphy gives scoring at the 4 and expiring during lockout in off season. NJN now have a veteran scorer at the 2 or 3 and 3 point specialist off the bench.

Well, he used a banned substance, got his **** kicked in by Tony Allen, his dad killed a cop, and he gave problems to management so they benched him.

Which? The NBA confirmed the banned substance thing, the fight with TA was everywhere and they banned card games because of it, and his dad killing a cop is in there too. He failed to show up to practice on time a few times, IIRC, so which is false?

He says he didn't know the substance was banned, which is probably a lie but that alone wouldn't make him a bad seed. The fight with TA just adds to it, and the problems his family is having doesn't help.
