I wouldn't lose hope on Felton just yet. If he stays in DEN, he should have the same numbers. If he moves to NJ, I would start looking for alternatives. The guy is avg. 19/8 right now. I wouldn't expect him to drop lower than 15/7 either way.

Basically, you have to wait till the dust settles with the trade deadline. I don't think the nuggets are set on Lawson being their starter and ESPN is reporting that DEN is not interested in moving Felton.

Thanks for the reply man! I read this : Lawson will be Denver's starting point guard now that Chauncey Billups has been traded to the Knicks, the Denver Post reports.
Spin:
Despite the arrival of Raymond Felton from the Knicks head coach George Karl said Lawson would be the starter when questioned on Monday night. It's possible that the club will trade Felton by Thursday's deadline or keep him as the primary back-up. If he stays Lawson's rise in value may be stunted somewhat, but Ty is most certainly a viable fantasy asset now that it appears he'll be getting 30+ minutes a night.

so thats why im almost ready to pull the trigger before buddy drops Gay for Ty, hmm still debating!

Prince is having a great season, good trade, Like you said I cant see felton dropping off too much.

Looking at my team, I prob should look for a SGSF, like Salmons but Ty Lawson is looking pretty good aat the moment, if he's going to the starter.... Even if roy is ok i don't think he will be getting 20 a night and his FG% should be pretty low... HMM ill wait a few hours and see what u guys think before adding Lawson..

I know if I drop Roy someone will pick him up right away.. thinking I rather have someone consistent, someone who won't skip games bc of injury

I have Lawson myself, drafted him because I was hoping he'd take over teh starting gig this year. So, I've got my fingers crossed that Felton gets dealt in a follow up deal.

I guess it depends on how badly you'll be burned if things don't go your way. If Lawson stays right where he is productionwise will you be able to drop him for someone good? Or will you be stuck with him? I'm guessing that you are in a small league where the waiver wire always has something good, so the risk isn't that high. You may as well swing for the fences.

If there isn't going to be anyone good on waivers, you might want to play a little more conservative and wait and see what Felton's future looks like for a couple more days.

I'd definitely drop Roy for Lawson. I have given up on Roy for the season. His per game rank so far is 88th (and that's in 35 mpg and his playing time will be much more limited than that when/if he comes back) and given the risk, he is just not worth the trouble.

Good move, Evans will probably end up missing the rest of the season.

I was pissed, I have Evans and was waiting for word on him before picking up Lawson. Unfortunately his MRI results came too late and Lawson was already picked up...

Sessions is a safer bet in my opinion. There's not much of a chance that Davis will get many minutes since he'll hate it there
