I think that's fine, all of us have generally voted on every series, so I think if we were not to vote, we wouldn't get enough quality votes as well. I'm sure we'd all be unbiased in picking the other series.

Yeah, my inclination is generally not to vote in this situation, but if its needed I will do so.

ditto

I realy dont want to vote but if Snakes and mine are settled I will.

On another note I just want to thank Snakebites for his very fair writeup. Its the 1st time in a long time that I read an opponets writeup and my wife not hear me yell "WTF" at the monitor. I honestly cant find much that I disagree with. Its a series that I would pay money to watch and honestly I could see either team winning. Its just too bad that the 2 best teams are in this bracket. Penbeast doesnt have a starter that can take over a game and his roster is full of choke artists and Tmac has maybe the worst def wing combo I have seen him put together. Im guessing better defenders like World B Free, Gail Goodrich, Dave Bing, Jeff Hornacek, and Allen Iverson turned him down and Calderon took Pistol before TMac could.

Getting a leg up on your possible finals writeup I see :)

Gilmore I believe has never won a playoff game vs DrJ even though he was always on a better team.

Gilmore was the Finals MVP in the year I chose. His opposing coach said he stepped up to the point that Indiana had no answers as Artis played superman against them . . . he's our main offensive option. Kentucky didn't beat Erving because he and the Nets choked against a below .500 St. Louis team that Gilmore beat easily.

Our second offensive option is Sidney Moncrief who was the most efficient scorer in the playoffs in one of the two chosen years and he led Milwaukee over the Bird/McHale/Parish/DJ Celtics before running into the "fo fo fo" Sixers (and taking them to 5). Hardly guys who didn't step up in their given years.

Then we rely on Paul's creating offense for himself and finishers Shawn Marion (a 20 ppg scorer) and Bobby Jones (among the league leaders in efficiency with double figure scoring) for the rest of our scoring. Off the bench we have 25ppg Chris Mullin and 20ppg Chris Bosh plus Harper, Daniels, and Wise. NONE of our players had bad playoffs in the given years, it was something I look at when I drafted. It's a powerful offense with no weak spots.
