Oklahoma City Thunder vs The Blake Griffins 2/22/11

Post#1 » by fallacy » Tue Feb 22, 2011 9:29 pm

Tonight our own Blake Griffin, from OU, returns to OKC.

The Clippers are 3-0 all time in OKC, so tonight we look to change that trend.

Sefolosha is still continuing to wear his knee brace but says his knee feels much better now than it did before the break. Also, Krstic's ring finger on his left hand is still swollen but he says he can play through it.

Starting linups

Thunder:
PG - Westbrook
SG - Sefolosha
SF - Durant
PF - Green
C - Krstic

Clippers:
PG - Davis
SG - Foye
SF - Gomes
PF - Griffin
C - Jordan

Also, Chris Kaman returned on the Clippers final game before the break and should play some tonight.

Then there's no reason this shouldn't be an easy win.

Well, except Scott Brooks, Jeff Green, the defense, Thabo Sefolosha, the 4th-quarter offense, etc;

I wonder if they are going to show up from here on into the playoffs. I think we are about to get a better idea of what we have with this team.

I'd melt if Brooks surprise us with his rotation.

Aldrich coming in?

If were showcasing him for a trade or just want to get him minutes that's awesome

I'm still shaking from seeking aldrich on the court. It's not even april fool today.

I think Brooks deserves some leeway if he continue giving minutes to Aldrich. So happy seeing Aldrich that it's not even needed to rate that performance

Harden playing amazingly. God I'm thankful we drafted him over Reke.

Once Griffin and Jordan got into foul trouble the Clippers totally fell apart.

4 rebounds and a +/- of +6 in 6 minutes. He's on pace for 24 rebounds if he plays 36 minutes!

Not really a team with depth and to be fair after griffin it's surely a big drop in standard.

Edit: Already 11 players used and it's not even the 4 quarter. Part of me thinks that Aldrich is only playing cause green is totally outmatched against the clippers. Well at least he's not fouling out so more minutes this game n next then

11 players made it into the game that half. Very strange half.

Is that the adjustment Brooks said he would make? Changing his standard 9 man rotation.

Brooks on the stretch run: "We’re going to make adjustments. But I think we have to get to a point where we just do things better."
