exactly dude is one of the most ignored perimeter defenders in the league. i can't believe he never makes an nba defense team when hes held down every star player.

I agree on Iggy, he's an incredible defender. Coach K called him one of the best defenders he's coached on team USA ..

In other news, Carl Landry is getting traded tonight. He's not playing in MIA cause SAC is trading him as we speak ..

And Devin Harris is most likely gonna get traded to Dallas in a trade for Caron Butler&Dominique Jones

I didn't lookup contracts or if we have what they are looking for, but these two players would give us a real shot at winning this year:

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=4brgv29 Just an idea

we don't get Miller, but acquiring Camby in a deal like this or something similar would be great

expiring deal in J-Rich for POR, we need Camby, and moves Fernandez who was disgruntled w/ POR earlier this year
Image

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I heard Fernandez is happy in Portland now. I like this trade though but it would be sweet to get Batum and Camby.

I would actually like Batum over Fernandez in terms of defense.

I don't get the guys saying Andre Iguodala doesn't have an offensive game.

How exactly the **** are we supposed to get a so called go to guy that consistently gives us 20 a night? Do these guys actually think that Stan would use the most out of lets say, a guy like Granger? I'd guarantee you that Granger averages something like 16.5 PPG simply because Stan is too big of a **** idiot to give certain players a little more freedom in his offensive system.

Jason Richardson came into our team as a 20 ppg scorer, given the freedom by the Suns offensive gameplan and Nash passing him the ball. He comes in Orlando and averages immediate career lows. Let's not forget about Vince Carter coming in and averaged career lows, even HEDO is averaging career lows with us this year.

The reason for that is, Stan has a great offensive talent in Jason Richardson, but his offensive system makes JJ Redick, Brandon Bass and Ryan Anderson, all solid role players take a million shots leaving the leftovers to Hedo and JRich. I would say that our 3 "good" role players also take shots from Nelson AND Dwight aswell.

if we don't add defense...we are doomed

somehow if we could land Camby and Wallace or Iggy in two separate trades I would be super excited but I know it is a pipe dream

What we need is someone who can create his own shot and not just rely on his teammates. Jrich can score, but he isn't exactly the type of player who you rely to down the stretch on one-on-one situations mainly because of his poor handling skills. Which is why most of the plays run for him usually comes off screens

Quite honestly, I'm still waiting for Stan to give the full rein of our offense back to hedo, we should stay away from Jameer creating right now. Hedo running the offense is what brought us to the finals.

http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/catego ... de-reports

.....the Grizzlies have discussed sending Randolph to Orlando for Brandon Bass and Jason Richardson. The thinking in Memphis is that the deal would keep the Grizzlies competitive this season while also giving them a young power forward for the future. Randolph is an unrestricted free agent this summer and it isn't clear if the Grizzlies can afford to keep him, while Bass is due $4 million next season and has a $4 million player option in 2012-13.

If the Grizzlies or Magic make the offer -- still a big if at this point -- would the Magic bite? Smith's report cited Magic interest, but from what I can gather, Orlando has never made an offer. Randolph would give the Magic a great low-post scorer, but losing Richardson would be a big blow. With the Nets likely to waive Troy Murphy, perhaps Murphy is a cheaper and less risky long-term option for Orlando.

kinda a follow up to a earlier rumor about Z.Bo to Magic

I think this would only make sense if OJ Mayo or Tony Allen is involved ..
