Good. I was surprised we picked up his option, not worth it

2015? Tyus Jones will be eligible for that draft.

EDIT: Just sayin'. That's a long time.

Hey now, keep it respectful in here. We only show appreciation to former Wolves.

Ooh, I guess I need to show my appreciation. Uhh, I appreciate the way he filled in at C when Darko and Pek were both injured.

Seems like a low-value trade, which makes me assume a couple things.

1.) We are not part of another deal. Koufos would have been in another deal, rushing this only makes sense if we are done.

2.) We are money conscious of this off-season. Koufos being moved does clear a little bit of cap. Roughly 2.2 mil I believe.

Nobody warmed the bench quite like Koufus.

He will be missed.

Too early to say. Lot's can still happen.

Kahn probably asked Koufos be added. He wasn't going to play and now the Wolves have Curry for salary filler and the cap space instead of Koufos (more valuable?).

@JerryZgoda Jerry Zgoda
@Bagsack21 Knicks are giving both Denver and #TImberwolves $3 million each, it's not an either/or...

Koufos was easily the best on the team at getting his rebounds stolen by Love.

I saw Koufos shopping once, at Costco. Said hi to him. Seemed like a good guy. Actually KostKo would be a good nickname for him...maybe they'll call him that in DEN, to go along with K-Mart.

These players are still so young, it's hard to tell who will realize their potential and who won't. Good luck to Koufos.

I agree with Krapinsky. We were at 14 roster slots before, right? Maybe we are hoping for a Curry + picks for Player X + Player Y type deal.

Bummer. I didn't really care if he was moved or not, but he seemed like he could have been a small incentive in a later deal that could net us more than a Denver 2nd.
