Oj Atogwe A Free Agent

Post#1 » by Perez2392 » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:23 pm

The Rams just released him and he could defininately help chris harris, idk how cheap he would come but he could be a great weapon on our defense.

Thoughts?

i think we're pretty settled in with manning and harris. I'd love him, but he's too pricey and we have other needs that our money should go to first.

I wouldn't call us being "settled in" at all. Manning is more than likely not going to be back leaving a pretty big hole at safety.

They're reluctant to sign because they want to give Major Wright the starting job. It was wither Lovie or Angelo who said this on the Bears website

The Bears wouldn't pony up what he refused from the Rams, no chance. He'll either be a Jaguar or an Ethnic Slur if he decides to leave STL. He's a free agent but I've heard he will give the Rams the chance to match, he would prefer to stay. They basically wanted him to see his market value.

I would keep an eye on Marcus Stroud.

We do need a ton of help at DT.

Not really. He still occupies blockers and can collapse run gaps, but he hasn't been in the backfield in about 2 years now. He has function has a run-down 0- or 1-technique, nothing more. The Bears do need that and he's been in similar schemes before.
