Will you still be a fan if they leave?
I'm interested in the thoughts of everyone. For me, I can't imagine not rooting for the Kings, even if they are the Anaheim Kings.
So, will you still be a fan of the Kings if the leave?

Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
That just happened.

Nope...and will probably need some time away from the NBA, if I dont lose complete interest all together.

I'm a fan of these players and moving isn't going to change that. It's not like the players want to move or are choosing to move. I'll still root for them but not with passion unless they stayed in Sac.

Re: Will you still be a fan if they leave?
Nope. I am a Kings fan because Sacramento is home. I would not give the Maloofs my money or attention if they betrayed my hometown and moved. They can try their luck finding new fans in the sea of Laker and Clipper fans in SoCal. I could care less. I'd also hold a grudge for them making it so that the closest team is Golden State. I hate Golden State.
Although I'd certainly still be a DeMarcus Cousins fan, just like I'm still a Kevin Martin and Peja Stojakovic fan. The organization as a whole though? Not a chance.

Nope. I love basketball, but the NBA is a joke and the only reason I still watch is because my town has an NBA team.

No way. I am fan because they are the SACRAMENTO Kings. Not going to be a fan if they leave.

It would hurt, but I was never a Sac fan because of location to begin with obviously. I just fell in love with that Jon Barry, CWebb, JWill, Nick Anderson, etc. era team back in the day. It would SUCK if they left and honestly, I don't know if I would be as into the team as much as before.

Re: Will you still be a fan if they leave?
I don't know. Probably, but I like to root for hometown teams. Only team I'm a fan of that isn't local is Duke.
I'd be tempted to be a Warriors fan because my extended family are all bay area sports fans and they're the closest. I wouldn't feel too bad about it either if they didn't sign David Lee haha. I just can't imagine watching the Kings play a game and me not rooting for them. We'll see. I'm probably still be a Kings fan.

Re: Will you still be a fan if they leave?
I was thinking about that the other day.
Meant to post a thread like this myself, but other things got in the way.
I was actually thinking of a secondary question, if the Kings leave, how might that affect your using RealGM?
As for me, my main interest in the Kings were because they were my local team. I don't know how much interest I'll have if they leave. It'll definitely be less, I think it'll probably be one of those things where I don't consider myself as having a team and will just follow players I like.
As to my use of Realgm, that would probably go down too. I'd probably stick primarily to the off-topic boards as both the NFL & MLB boards get very little traffic.

If they move to Anaheim, no.
If they move to San Jose, Vegas or elsewhere, probably.
And agreed with NNN, I would probably become a Warriors fan first either way.

Move to San Jose / bay area and I'll still root for them. Otherwise, I might have to root for the W's.
IF they win a championship in another city, I'd be happy for them, but it'll still feel like an empty victory.
