I like Amir - he's actually pretty good, he just can't stay out of foul trouble though. Not sure if he ever will either. He just doesn't get it on that end of the floor. He goes for everything, which is admirable, but a good way to take yourself out of games with fouls.

He needs to be smarter.

Huge rebounding night by Nazr; with 24 minutes of burn ya gotta believe teams are calling for this guy. Also glad Doris Meow played well tonight...showcase his many skills that can be on display for some other team...every 3rd or 4th game.

Nice win! Now MJ, bring on a trade that makes our present and future brighter!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

28 for 5 years isn't too bad I suppose.

Even if he become a career 6th man, thats not over the top.

Yea, I remember that Tyrus and Amir received similar deals.

How in the hell does Alexis Ajinca get 10 points? :-?

I was as big a supporter of anyone of wanting a trade, but after a game like tonight it makes me excited with what we have for the rest of the year. I suppose i can live without a trade, it's just so exciting to think of change sometimes. Good game all around, need the bench to step up more. Another great game from Hendo. The guy needs to start getting close to 30 minutes every night and the minutes of Jack and Wallace need to be limited.

Outside of that. It's GREAT to see DJ is back. You can tell he is healthy, he is a new found man! Once again DJ gets 20+ and we get the W. I swear, DJ is the oil that keeps this machine going. He may very well be the MVP of this team. When he plays well we win. When he doesn't play well, more times than not we loose.

Yeah Amir's salary and productivity are well matched given his productity. We had 32 fouls as a team tonight; Amir had 3 of those and only got 22 minutes. The reality is that the tank is on as there is no reason to be giving AA 13 minutes in any game.

He's an ideal big man off the bench on a good team. We're just so bad everywhere at the moment.

I like the Bobcats but you need to keep tonight's performance in context. You beat Toronto. We make everyone look awesome.

I hate Bayless and I didnt watch the game but his stat line for the game looks ok despite the 4 turnovers. 11/10/5 in 21 minutes from a backup is acceptable.

Haha, very true. But the Bobcats have always had a problem with the bad teams. We come out and play well against the good teams, for the most part, and drop games we just cannot afford to drop (IE Nets). So to come out and play like we did was impressive as a Bobcats fan. We'll see what happens. I was just so excited for a trade, but no I guess I can live with it either way.

Alexis Ajinca is so bad he wouldn't even start on some D League teams.

Normally yes, but this is Toronto. They are so bad that it doesn't count.

Not too much worse than the Nets are, and we lost to them. We always seem to play down to the level of bad teams, so it was nice to see us pretty much control throughout this game.

I think the Raps are worse than the Nets. The Raps is a very awful team - especially considering the number of lottery picks (and top 10 picks) they have on the roster.

That's what he said. He just said they weren't THAT much worse.

Also, Lopez is starting to look worse and worse. DJ is starting to look better and better. I like it.

One thing that was striking to me is that I wasn't aware Julian Wright has become a 12th man on a very bad team. He was supposed to be a really good glue player coming out of the draft and was projected top 6, right?

Yeah, that Raps roster seems to be the end of the line for underachieving 1st round picks.

At least we got the best underachieving overall 1st round pick in Kwame Brown and made him look like a 25th overall pick.
