Does ZBo to Magic hold Water?

Basically the trade floating around is ZBo for Bassinator and J-Rich.

Considering it's from Chad Ford via Sam Smith, this trade is a no go. Unless the Grizz see there is no way they can bring back ZBo at least there should be a better deal than the one before hand. Bass is a downgrade from Zbo inspte of his work ethic and J-Rich adds more of a logjam @ the SG position.

Sam Smith is an absolute hack, and makes up like 10 trades a week, and has for the better part of 20 years. He is infamous for proposing trades that never have a chance of day of occurring.

If the Grizz have no intention of signing Zach to a max deal, then this is a great trade.

What gets me is the part that "the grizz are holding internal conversations".

When I heard this rumor last week from Sam Smith I thought it was BS, if what Chad Ford reported on the Grizz holding internal conversation is true that is interesting.

As a Magic fan, just wondering what kind of reports you guys have had about signing Zach or not?

Tillery(beat writer) said this morning that the Grizz and Z-Bo's camp working on extension with no pressure to get it done prior to tomorrow's deadline, as it can be completed anytime prior to July 1st and Memphis is where Randolph wants to be.

I don't think Zbo goes in a one off move. If the Grizz get involved with Utah for either Millsap or Jefferson, then that deal makes some sense.

That would be cool for the Grizz, getting Jefferson, as I know it is much easier dealing with Utah than Khan in Minnesota and the Grizz Brass were p.o'd when Minny made things public when this was first mentioned this past summer.
