Yeah. Ball really wasn't going inside at all. If we play like that tonight we will get routed in Portland. All of our perimeter players have the shoot 1st mentality. Between Kobe, Artest, Fisher, & Shannon, they took a combined 34 shots with only 9 assists to go with it. Pau & Bynum had a combined 12 shots with 5 assists.

Nobody took a lot of bad shots infact Kobe only shot 11 times which lead the way & is nothing. The problem is (and Norm Nixon, Bill McDonald, & KE KE Vandeweh all pointed to this) the Lakers have to feed the bigs & they just don't or won't. I watch Pau & Bynum get position time after time & watch the guards swing the ball to the other side of he court.

Everyone on the peremiter has now taken the shoot 1st mentality. The only reason it didn't kill us last night is because the ATL was horrible. Mark my word, if this is our momentus operandi the rest of the way we will get put out.

I was surprised at how often Drew was passing last night. The Hawks were cheating on defense and Drew quickly passed to open guys on the perimeter. Only down side of this is that those open guys were missing wide open looks. only if this team had a legit shooter.

Nice to see joe smith out there. he's actually looking like a big body that helps pack the paint and he's very good on offense too, i'd like to see him get some minutes with some of the starters out there

Yeah he was making the right choices but only got 1 assist to show for it because of their bricking lol
