And if they do that deal, in 2011 they can rename the team the Memphis TinMen, as the only heart on that team would be Tony Allen.

Sorry BD, just don't like that deal. Not enthused with bringing in all those (mis)picks. I'd love to have Bass as a rotation guy, but not the starter at the 4. I'd only want to see Zbo moved if it was done in conjunction with a move to pick up Millsap or Jefferson.

Heisley will not pay Gasol and Zbo huge contracts next season, I just do see it.
That would push the payroll over $60 million.
My fear is that he may walk for nothing. This was only a plan to prevent him walking with nothing in return.

Gasol should end up with a Noah/Horford deal - 5@$60
Zbo should be offered (IMO) a 3@$50
Move Thabeet (now or during offseason)
Jaric's money off the books.
No issues no worries.
Also, don't forget that Heisley DID run a big payroll in the playoff years. I don't doubt he wouldn't do it again IF a winner was on the court.
