I'm really gonna bang my head to the table if Otis isn't going after Troy Murphy but Eddy Burgerry

It wasn't for "almost nothing." Utah only sent away one player and got in return an awesome PG, a rookie prospect, NJ's lottery pick, a Golden State 1st rounder which is bound to be a lottery pick, and $3 million in cash. That's definitely not "almost nothing" and consider that just because DWill has been traded now doesn't mean he's a Nets lifer now. No, NJ will be going through the same thing next year as Denver this season unless Deron signs an extension after the new CBA this summer. It's a risky move for the Nets, as they're pretty much only renting DWill for a year in hopes that he'll want to stay with them.

pretty sure nothing is going to happen....the only real thing i'm angry about is that fact that we have/had TPE's and again we let expire......i guess it wasn't even worth it to utilize them....oh well i guess

Using a TPE when you already are paying 90mil in salaries per year + luxury tax is complicated. I think DeVos would just allow it if it was for a superstar, not a backup center, for example.

Re: THE Trade Deadline Thread
I'm going to throw this out there - Andre Kirilenko. Long, active, good defender, and Utah is now overloaded in the frontcourt with Okur, Jefferson, Favours, Millsap, Kirilenko, Fesenko and Haywood.
J-Rich for Kirilenko straight up. Both are expiring deals, but it saves Utah $3m in the short term and gives them a better balance to their roster. We get an active body who can defend the four and the three.
