I don't know about 'question of the season, but for me personally he was hyped up enough that everyone knew he had lottery talent. So yeah my excitement is that of a 1st rd. pick If he matures properly we could have a brutal pg. Pound for pound he is a beast, with exceptional strength, if he focuses on defense, the sky is the limit.
Ziplock you really like Stephenson, it's between you and Indy2tw, but I say you're his biggest fan.

Not being overly familiar with him...is he a true one , a two or more of a combo guard....what role do you see him filling for our Pacers?

Boneman, he's my favourite player of the draft class. I have high hopes for him, comsidering i've been following him since his Lincoln days. And to Indy, i think he'd be most successful as a pg. Lots will disagree but with his size and handle he could be a match up problem nightly. Although he's not blinding quick, I think he could bully pg's on d.

He's essentially a ball-dominant, undersized SG, attack the basket scorer. Kind of similar to Eric Gordon, except Gordon is an effective shooter as well as dribble-drive guy. Lance is more of an attack the basket guy.
It'll be interesting to see how well he can attack the basket with guys like Dwight Howard defending the room, not Byron Mullens types.

Mike Wells says Stephenson is active tonight. Rush starting, Dunleavy out indefinitely.

At the summer league Lance was exclusively a pg. But I agree with Scoot, you could see a very similar player to Gordon, except Gordon has a great shot & Lance has always been a 1, albeit his only collegiate season. But they are both strong compactly built guards.

Luckily NBATV Canada aired the Orlando Summer League. Watching Lance play was great, everything seemed so effortless. Paul George was exciting too.

Ok, I'm ready to take a look at Lance.
I seriously doubt he'll do worse than the 0-8 in 15 min.performance of AJ tonight.
I do like it that we kept him off the floor so far. Hope it made a point.
If he does make defense a priority it could do wonders for his career...as well as our pleasure to watch it.

As long as our PnR D schemes are good, since I would guesstimate Dragic is a bit quicker than Lance, though I'm pretty sure Lance could break him in half

I really hope he has been learning hard to get court time and learn to play D the way the coaches want, especially since his court case got dismissed, makes it a lot easier PR wise to play him.

Well Stephenson had a really good day yesterday: not only was he activated but also the criminal charges against him from the incident last summer were dropped.

I have no opinion on Stephenson, having never really seen him play (Summer League doesn't count). As a second-round pick, any production he gives the Pacers is pure gravy as far as I'm concerned.
