Psycho T and Foster wanted that basket bad. It was nice to see Rush in there too.

Dunleavy's not so bad he deserves DNP-CD's, so I'm glad it's not that. But it is nice to see Lance in warmups, even if he never takes them off this game.

Dunleavy is a good player...smart, sound fundamantals, better than average skills. It's only his mediocre defense that bothers me (and apparently a lot of other Pacer fans)

They probably shouldn't give the ball to darren Collison right here. He turns over too much. The coach should let Paul George try to get the last shot of the game.

Brandon Rush with a game-winning dunk in his first start in the Vogel era. Good show.

We got a W that we needed.

Why didn't
(and more generally, doesn't)... Hibbert get more shots?

Bad one for AJ: 0-8 bricks in 15 mins. (Simmer down dude). Let's take a look at Lance.

We look a little scrawny in the middle sometime. We could use some beef.

I like how Hansbrough plays. He's becoming one of my favorites.

We are too careless with the ball. Weak handles, poor decisions, And careless shots where we should have assists and dunks.
We are young, that will improve but we are not without real issues in this area.

I like Vogel.
I no longer have moments in the game where I say ?WTH??
His rotations make sense, his plays sometime look like... plays, and His players give a crap. Good enough.

The more I watch this team, the more I think its biggest need is for a good pure two guard. Someone with GOOD handles, who makes GOOD decisions without forcing things, and whose ability to score scares other teams.

I know it's a young team, but I'm not sure we have that guy on the roster yet. I remain pessimistic about Rush, I'm just not sure he'll ever quite get it. I do wonder if Paul George eventually might bring enough good things to the table to successfully masquerade as a starting two guard.

But I'm leaning in the direction of thinking this is a missing piece that might have to be filled through the draft or by a smart trade.

really? I think the problem is point and backup center when Jeff can't go. DC has flashes but loses the ball too often. AJ has lost his shot. Lance hasn't gotten off the bench. I'm hoping DC just needs time as there aren't a lot of point guards that are immediate stars and we can all name all star point guards that looked like busts at this stage of their career.

^ I guess I'd say it looks to me as though the team's biggest flaw is they just don't handle the ball all that well on the perimeter. A lot of that falls on the pgs, but for whatever reason I still feel optimistic about Collison, I think he will cut down on the turnovers once he's been in the league a little longer. It's just his second NBA season, and pgs usually take time to develop.

I think the reason Dahntay Jones has been surprisingly effective lately is that he might be the one best able to impersonate a real two guard at this point. If only he were a better, more consistent player...

I'm not too worried about backup center. They'll find somebody competent to fill in for Foster. We're blessed to have Hibbert, that's the main thing.
