Clippers have agreed in principle to acquireards Mo Williams and Jamario Moon from Cleveland for guard Baron Davis and a 2011 1st round pick (Clippers pick), sources tells Y! Sports.

WOW, Clippers are idiots. WTF why do they trade their first rounder this year? Regardless of protection, Baron for Mo isn't worth the pick. THEY BOTH HAVE THE SAME YEARS LEFT ON THEIR DEALS!

Maybe the Clips are trying to clear as much cap space as they can for a run at either Paul or Deron Williams or D12 in 2012.

Pretty crappy trade for LA if this is the case. Whats wrong with spending a few extra on a better PG in Baron than a E.Gordon 2.0 in mo williams? And loosin a 1st rounder on top of it.

So, a 1st to get rid of Baron's contract? It's protected, right? Even Sterling is not that dumb to give up unprotected 1st in a year his team can be top-3 in the lottery?

mo expires a year earlier, davis has a 14 million eto for 2013

The Cavs have odds for the #1 and #8 picks in this year's draft. Too bad this draft class sucks

Davis' contract costing more than Mo's isn't a huge deal for the Cavs though. Gilbert will pay whatever, and we aren't signing any significant free agents in the next couple years anyway.

Time to watch Davis lose all motivation and desire for the game of basketball!!!!

Cavs has their own version of Blake Griffin in Hickson. Hehe

This trade is much better for the Clips than Cavs. Mo is a steady shooter from the 3pt area and midrange. Something Baron will never be as a player and Clips needs shooting.

Forget Griffin, Baron can now dump the ball inside to Antawn Jamison and JJ Hickson, not to mention the perks of playing with the veritable tour-de-force of brilliance that is Christian Eyenga.

Yeah the pick makes it bad for the Clippers. Looks like a pure money saving move, Mo Williams has been even worse than Baron this year.
