I though....what a stupid trade by Cleveland...but unprotected first 2011, that changes a lot..

Still...they will not finish worst than 6th...and not better than 8th

But CLE could get lucky in lottery you never know 8-)

They could have 2 picks in top 3 in june...

And people wonder why I laugh at Clipper fans and tell them that they'll NEVER win anything. What a F'in horrible move. I get it, Baron started the season playing like crap and then began to play well because of Griffin and now the Clips figure that they'd better trade him while his value is high. Ok fine, but for MO "I'M A LOSER AND I WANT TO QUIT NOW THAT JAMES IS GONE" WILLIAMS? I mean really?

On the other hand after all that "loyalty" talk Mo was preaching, feeling backstabbed and wanting to do well for Cleveland, I bet he's smiling right now getting ready to play with Griffin.

Good trade for the Cavs. They definitely needed another lottery pick.

Why, do the Clippers get to make the pick for them too?

From the Clippers point of view, they have been trying to win via draft for like 20 years. Now they finally have some legit prospects like gordon and griffin, it's time to win right now. No more development etc. They need proven players.

I understand the move. This will only backfire if the pick is a top 3 pick.

Mo is averaging 13 per game, shooting 26% from 3 and 38% from the field. Not sure "win now" is the best way to describe acquiring a player like that.

If there's one team that knows how to build through the draft it's Cleveland

He's got 41,650,000 left. Maybe he takes a 30 mil buyout, than signs an contract with a contender for 3/15mil deal?

Poor Baron Davis. You know your team is miserable when you feel bad for the player LEAVING the Clippers.

Wait, so they want to win now and so they do that by trading away their most valuable trade chip and the point guard who has been facilitating their turnaround for a downgrade?

I'm not talking about acquiring Mo I'm talking about in the offseason when they can use their savings to get free agents/trades etc.
