They got a great point until Kyrie Irving is on the Cavs.

instead of people talking about Deron or CP3 going to the Clippers, maybe we should prepare for Griffin to OKC or wherever

I think it's a great point if the Clippers are able to attract free agents with all this money they are saving. Everyone on that team playing a significant role, except Baron and Gomes, was one of their own picks. I guess they are hoping Blake attracts someone in the 2012 offseason, but they're going to be vying with a lot of other teams. They could get New Jersey'd.

That is potentially Kyrie Irving right there. Hate the draft all you want, you don't throw away the possibility of that type of asset for mere salary relief + Mo Williams and Jamario Moon.

Thats a better risk than hoping to land a top 3 pick in this mediocre at best draft.

I'm almost 100% sure Irving will not declare this year. This is a terrible draft class.

SO it is a terrbile draft class and therefore a guy who almost be assured of going #1 won't declare and wait for next year when he will have more competition.

They didn't lottery protect the pick? We'll see how that ends up. The draft may end up being weaker than it already is if players stay another year due to a lockout.

Mo Williams is happy as hell he's leaving Cleveland to play in LA.

We might see a better Mo Williams since he isn't in such a bleak situation

Considering there will be lockout coming, and half of the season if not more could be lost, some of the few top players(Irving, P Jones, T Jones, Sullinger) in a weak draft may not declare and choose to stay in school for another year. Still a good move for the Cavs as they will never land a top player via free agency so they need to stockpile picks and build through the draft.

Mo Williams = Winner.

From almost retirement talk in gloomy Cleveland, to sunny LA throwing lobs to the interracial sensation.

Lol Baron is going to hate it in Cleveland.

He's a West Coast guy, even more a diehard LA guy which is why he left the Bay Area to join the Clippers. The only reason he was content in Charlotte back in the day was because he got to team up with Eddie Jones, then he started to decline in New Orleans before he got traded to California.

Poor Clipper fans. Just when you thought they might see the sunlight, the dark force pulls them right next to Sterling's ass again.
