Re: THE Trade Deadline Thread
Lol I saw ESPN, the topic at the bottom was "Chances New Orleans trade Chris Paul or Orlando trade Dwight"
Broussard said neither will be dealt this year.

...No. He didn't trade richardson and Meer, he traded Meer and Howard for Paul and Ariza. It was a joke.

I dont think Hornets would accept it, they are already paying big bucks for Okafor and West, so its insane to pay this kind of money to D12 ride the bench.

First I was thinking the same thing .. But:
@stevekylerNBA Steve Kyler
you can't practice or play a player you have open trade talks with.
you can always claim the talks started after practice, but that's generally a no deal sign...

If by GREAT CHANCE you mean, no way in hell, yes.
The Hornets are sitting at a 5 seed in the west...they're not blowing up their season because we're offering Jameer Nelson and Jason Richardson.
Be reasonable

Look again, there's one very key player who is missing from his lineup.
Also, FWIW, Rashard Lewis practiced w/the team the day he was traded.

Less than two hours now and three teams I expected to deal haven't yet, so I think there is going to be a flurry here soon.

Re: THE Trade Deadline Thread
Chicago already has a great team and is trying to get a better shooter in Clee.
Boston already has a great team and is trying to get players like Jared Dudley and Shane Battier.
Miami already has a great team and is trying to get more size.
New York had a pretty good team and just got way better with Melo.
Even Atlanta, who had a pretty good team is trying to improve with bringing in size and a younger PG.
Is Otis incredibly delusional or just dumb?

Re: THE Trade Deadline Thread
I think the trade deadline deals are different that in-season trades as far as players practicing. This is a deadline where deals might come up at the last minute, after morning workouts. I don't think players being at practice today means anything.

Re: THE Trade Deadline Thread
I can remember us being disappointed last year at the deadline that Otis didn't make a trade ..
One can only imagine how we'll all react when there's not a deal this deadline

The Hawks trade isn't anything that will make them great.
The rest though, trying...nothings been done and with two hours left, there is no sure thing out there besides Carmelo making the Knicks a bit better.
