Looks like a wrap. Otis likes this team.

Even Atlanta, who had a pretty good team is trying to improve with bringing in size and a younger PG.

The Hawks trade isn't anything that will make them great.

The rest though, trying...nothings been done and with two hours left, there is no sure thing out there besides Carmelo making the Knicks a bit better.

The keyword is trying. All these teams are trying to improve. We haven't heard a single thing about the Magic being involved with any trade talks.

Otis should have told us that last night.

Guys... don't turn to ESPN2 and watch 1st and 10... they had a topic for "Dwight Howard"... and the host and debaters pretty much tore up the issue and brought up every negative in the world, from Dwight leaving, to SVG's problems, to Dwight's impressionable state of mind to other places (LA, OKC), to the city of Orlando's inferiority complex, to the bad contracts/trades, no deals being done ... it was brutal to listen to... I advise you to not listen to it if you see it on

Our biggest advantage against the Hawks were Nelson torching Bibby and Dwight destroying Horford in the post.
Hinrich actually plays D so Jameer isn't going to blow by him w/ ease and the Hawks have been using a big lineup w/ a Smith-Horford-Collins front court

Dwight can score on Collins, but Horford has and will tear up our PF's on the offensive end

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

Oh, so we have to hear about it? The Magic have discussed trades, just because three teams in bigger markets have been popped trying to make a trade doesn't mean it's not happening here. The December deals were quiet and quick...

No disrespect, but that's not a good sig with the latest situation around here

Btw, why the hell does Boston need Troy Murphy? They have like 4 players that can play center.

Get back to me when the Hawks have won any game of consequence against us...last I saw we were kicking them to the curb last May.

Wasn't our first game with the new players, still without practice, against the Hawks?? If so, the season series is irrelevant .. Next game will tell us where we are compared to those birdies

Because they know Heat, Magic and Knicks need a center, so lets take him off the market and make things difficult for them.

First of all, he's not a C
Second, that's probably also to make sure another contender doesn't sign him ..

the ceo of the magic, should look at the situation that is going on in the league, then look at what the magic are doing, and then do the appropriate thing and fire some people. Sometimes I wish the owner was more involved in the team and force things to happen.

Hawks are better than the Magic now. Stop living in the past.
