Whatever we do, I think we just need to do a total rebuild to move up in the draft. I would trade any of jefferson / CJ / Bell / AK Memo for young talent / draft picks / cap room, even if they are riskier but high-upside moves (like Paul George, for example).

We would suck, but even if just one or two of those traded players becomes good the combination of our picks (if we only won like 20-25 games next year) plus the nets, plus the warriors would be like at least three top 10 picks, anywhere from 0-3 top 5 picks (probably 1, hopefully 2?).

The thunder basically become who they are with 3 top 10 picks, plus one #1 overall (and nailing some late 1st rounders like Ibaka). We won't get durant, but we could get some really good players.

I think thats both the highest upside move in terms of building the best team possible and the most likely to field the most competitive team 3+ years out.

Per their comments, I don't see KOC and Miller going for a full-on rebuild. I think in their minds, we'll get a good player in this year's draft, reload with the MLE, and then be a solid playoff team next year. We'll see if that's realistic this summer, I guess.

I thought the same thing this time last season...There's usually no rumors when Jazz are talking...They're too tight lipped. I'm sure KOC has been on the phones all day, but we won't hear anything until a deal actually happens...Just like Brew/Korver/Dwill trades.

I would still love to land Courtney Lee if possible...maybe we could offer them Fes and Elson?

It kinda feels like we're done if there is nothing coming out this late in the game but who knows...no one knew about the D-Will move until it had already happened.

I'm honestly surprised at how quiet today has been. With all the trades and rumors swirling over the last 48 hours, I thought today would be a frenzy.

I feel the same way. I expected to get out of my classes and be reading about the 10+ trades that went down but nothing new has happened all morning.

Pretty disappointing actually...

That move makes the thunder scary. Just playing ibaka 30min at PF will improve them.

Yeah, Wallace to Portland was a major steal.

And OKC looks like they got a shot at the WCF.

The OKC and Boston deal is great for both teams.

I'm shocked by how cheap Portland got Wallace too. Straight up robbery on their part.
