Are you happy with our moves with the deadline passing?

I will admit that BD was playing very well recently, but overall I didn't think his salary justified his contributions. I am ok with that deal. On the other hand, we did nothing else, which I'm not happy about. Last year we rid ourselves of Camby and ended up with no big free agent; this year we are doing the same, and I'm not extremely confident that we will lure a big free agent when the opportunity comes, and to get better, we will need either that, OR dependable role players (i.e. Batum, Fernandez, etc.).

Any thoughts?

We made another BAD move at the Trade Deadline! Doesn't matter who are G.M is, we suck at pulling off trades at the deadline.

I thought an unprotected pick was a bit too much to give. I would say top 3 protection would have been wise. I think dumping the Baron salary is wise to maintain flexibility for 2011 & 2012 but the way they achieved it wasn't necessarily the best way.

I'm bothered that they didn't pick up a better shooting/defending SF to replace Gomes. That position is one where the team gets consistently poor production. Swingmen are the most abundant in the NBA. It's bizarre that the Clippers couldn't find some bargain out there.

Our pick will be 8-10 and in this draft, that will just get a role player that most likely will come off the bench most of his career. If this deal helps us get a superstar in the summer of 2012, then I'm all for this deal. We will just have to wait and see if this will pay off.
