Lets nominate 5 posters from this forum for a Wizards tryout

Post#1 » by Wes_Tiny_Abe_ » Thu Feb 24, 2011 11:02 pm

Lets nominate 5 posters from this forum for a tryout with the Wizards this summer.
I am being 100% serious here.
This team needs some offense badly.
Over the years I have played at various basketball courts in this area and there is plenty of local talent out there.
Something has to be done.

If you want to nominate yourself give a reason why you should be nominated.
The top 5 prospects nominated will be placed in a thread at the top of this board.
From there we will proceed with the process of having the nominated prospects receive a guaranteed tryout with the team.

Something has to be done.
The time to act is NOW.

I should be nominated because I'm Jewish, and we all now that Jews are really good at basketball.

I nominate hands. His optimism in the locker room may be helpful!

From the responses so far I can tell that this is going to take a while.
Luckily we have until the summer to figure all of this out.

I officially disqualify myself from any nominations here.
Although my 3 point shot and range is deadly I do not wish to commit myself for an entire 82 game season.

I'd like to nominate myself provided the team gives me monthly gift cards to CVS, Starbucks and the Apple store.

I nominate Rico because I believe he is prepared to go the distance and to make use of every available asset to satisfy Ernie Grunfeld.

I nominate nate, because I've watched him keep his cool for almost a decade and I'd like to see him finally explode in a fit of rage and rip Blatche's head off.

I also nominate WizarDynasty because I'd like to see him teach JavalePostMovesDuringPractice.

JWiz nominates Miller because he secretly hopes for some sort of practice "accident" that would force miller to retire from modding - whereby JWiz swoops in and begins to create havoc everywhere.

lol.

And I'm Italian. Not the racist kind but the cousin to a brother kind. :D

I'll put a foot in McGee ass to get him motivated and I'll work on Nick and Dray getting them to drive more.

And I'll get Flip to start Seraphin and play more Booker.

But you don't want me on the court any more.

No...I nominate rent-a-mod cuz I hear he gets off early, but can never deliver in the clutch.

It won't be a big deal, the Wizards don't commit themselves to playing 4 quarters of a basketball game.

I would like to nominate myself..... I once beat a team of 5 by myself in a basketball game in HS. (so what if they were only freshman and I was a senior)

Unlike the current Wizards, I also would try every game.

I'd nominate myself, but I'm needed on the new medical staff.

I don't know a damn thing about your medical knowledge, and for all I know, your experience amounts to a two week internship at a bowling alley.

Congratulations. You're hired. Stop by CVS on your way to VC and pick up some supplies (Snapple, Royal Pomade, etc.)

Nah, things are going to change with the new guy here. We're getting all the supplies at the liquor store; not CVS.

Yeah, that does cure pretty much everything. And the cherry colored Tussin can be used for blood transfusions.
