Donte would have been a Bickerstaff type of player. He basically is a defensive PF in a SF body. I think he would struggle against SF's because of lack of quickness, but is a solid rebounder and man defender. Taj is a great person to compaire him to, but I think Taj is a little more offensive then donte. I actually think he is like Nejera alot. Nice solid player to have on your team!

DJ White, I don't get at all. He could not get any minutes for a few years now on a team that really really needs BIGS. I do not have much hope for him, hope I am off

Really? I think they are totally oppostites. Taj is a defensive, shot blocking PF and Cunningham is an offensive mid range shooting PF.

Hasn't he missed time bacause of his injuries? Either way, it would be hard for him to get burn in front of Green and Ibaka.

Considering Bickerstaff is on staff at Portland, I think it's safe to say he IS a Bickerstaff player!

He's been described (by you i think) as an unathletic Tyrus Thomas. Taj Gibson is an unathletic Tyrus Thomas by that description. But yeah I prefer defense in the starting lineup and offense on the bench, which bodes well for Cunningham in my book. We'll see.

I discribed him as that because Cunningman has that sweet mid range J like Tyrus. The unathletic part is that Dante doesn't rebound, block shots or explode in the same way Tyrus does.

Something just tells me that one of these players is going to be special for us. I don't know who, and I don't know why I think that, but I just think one of them is going to be great for us.

This brings me great sadness.

I wouldn't say Dante is unathletic. His biggest problem, which has already been stated, is his height. If the guy had another 2-3 inches, he'd be a total stud. What I love watching most is when he boxes out an opposing player for a rebound. It's oldschool textbook boxing out. I don't know that I see Dante playing SF at all. His size is ideal, we've just never seen him play that position in Portland. Quickness could present a problem. It just depends on the opposing SF I guess. I'd love to see Charlotte waive the guy since they have 5,000 PF's and the Blazers resign him, but I doubt that happens. Good luck to the Bobcats and thank you for terrifc early Christmas present (Wallace).

DJ White from what I read is a healthy Sean May. Automatic off the pick and pop and hard to guard that midrange jumper. And a decent rebounder in the few minutes he played.

A healthy Sean May? I don't even know what to think of that.

Marcus Cousin? That's priceless. They guy is doomed. His feed on draftexpress is all Demarcus Cousins updates. Think Demarcus Cousins, only no 'De' :)

Outside of the unfortunate name, I agree. I would rather gamble on someone like this and send Joel back to Portland where he wants to be.

Which is exaclty the kind of player that would thrive playing with DJ. He is also a solid rebounder from what I have heard. I'm looking forward to DJ hooking up with DJ. Haha. I also think that CUnningham will see time at the 3 more so than the 4. Higgins said the first thing he did was ask Cunningham if he could play the 3, and he said he would do anything he had to. We'll see how it goes. But sounds like Cunningham primarily at the 3, White primarly at the 4, and overally hopefully less of Diaw. Can't wait for the magic game!
