If you put it that way, then yes, he will be selected once or twice for the ASG, but I am pretty sure the reference is on Bynum becoming a consistent allstar over his career, and I don't see that happening. There will be upcoming centers who will eventually surpass Bynum, not like that's difficult to do.

Bro, Paul is gone summer of 2012. The Hornets have no way of getting better, like attracting a big F.A. to come to N.O. to play. So why should Paul be there, if he cannot contend? And if not sold, the Hornets are likely candidates to be contracted.

I see the NBA got you fooled too. Stern is NOT trying to make the Hornets a contender dude. He is just trying to keep them a float with as little as input as possible. Because if they went out and made NO a contender the whole league and every NBA owner would join Cuban in all out riot. So a little tweak to keep them relevant in the playoff push is somewhat fair. CP3 wants a to play into late spring if he doesn't Stern will have another Melo or LeBron meltdown during the summer. Then NO ONE will want to buy the Hornets. Stern does not want to move the Hornets but he would love to offer NO with CP3 intact. In the event of a move with CP3 you get the Hornets to SoCal or Las Vegas or Vancouver. With out Paul no sale and possible contraction.

But I agree CP3 will most likely walk. But Stern will take every effort to keep him NO as long as possible.

I agree they won't make a sale without a star like Paul, and hopefully the NBA can sell the Hornets before 2012, but if they don't then it looks like the Hornets are going to be contracted. Because Paul already has one foot out the door.

Pryzbilla: 26 mins, 4 pts, 7 rebs

Regardless there are MANY nba centers that could give us what bynum does (11 pts 7 rebs).

that's not true. bynum is a go to scorer.

he is one of the VERY few go to scorers at his position in the league, and maybe the best at that. this lakers team just doesn't need that. he is playing a role. it is laker-luxury. fans should stop asking for 20 ppg out of every starter. it is a team concept and that's why this team will win another title. it is luxury, fans need to get that into their heads already.

I dont expect him to score a bunch of points. My point was that if he is what you guys make him out to be, he wouldn't play pryzbilla to a stalemate, the coach would LET HIM PLAY IN THE 4th QUARTER once in a while, and we would at least run A FEW plays through him on offense.

and its not just potential, bynum has been putting up a 20+ PER for a 4th straight yr now, thats elite.

the only other centers that have done that: tim duncan and dwight howard, thats it.

Bynum has had a 20 PER the last 4 seasons...HAHAHA that is a joke right? He has also gotten injured in the last 4 seasons, and has contributed what in the playoffs exactly? Deron Williams is arguably the best PG in the NBA, and you wouldn't trade him for a 11/7 Center who hasn't played 60 games every in his career?
