Can't wait to see how we play when the calvary arrives!

Great game and performance to be short handed (except for useless Doris Meow). When I think about this season, no matter what happens, I will remember 3 things:

> The idiot Brow/the return of Silas

> Goodbye Crash

> The emergence of our backcourt of the future: DJ and Hendo

Most exciting is our new guard tandem. I was hard on DJ and while he has to continue improving, he became a starting PG with even more promise for the future. Henderson is finding his game under Silas and becoming a solid player. He needs to improve his range on his jumper, add to his game, but his defense is already showing lock-down quality. AWESOME!

Jax getting to his sweet spot now at the 3. Get Tyrus healthy and see what Cunningham and/or White can do, hope Diaw becomes our overpriced 6th man until we can trade him in the offseason, hope Pryz gets inspired and stays healthy, and hope we get some offense from Carroll and (maybe) some bad-ass free agent we sign.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

And a seriously depleted Bobcats roster.

It's arguable who was a better player, Jax or Wallace.

Enough of the sad crap, DJ has to step up BIG time now. One of the things I had pointed out a couple of weeks ago were the amount of shots to go around. Jax had to get his and Crash had to get his meaning DJ was 3rd on the list. Now that Crash has gone, DJ is 2nd cheese and has to play that way.

Hendo wont need a lot of shots (although it will be nice seeing him shoot off that down screen instead of Crash) because Hendo can influence a game with his defense. He can also get point by getting out on the break (he's much quicker than Crash). But DJ will have to contribute more.

FGA's we have been taking per game (post LB):
DJ = 11
Jax = 17
Crash = 11
Boris = 9
Kwa-Man = 6

while Hendo was seeing around 7

I would expect it to now be:

DJ = 14
Hendo = 9
Jax = 16
Boris = 9
Kwa-Man = 6

Game #1:

DJ = 11 for 23pts
Hendo = 17 for 21pts
Jax = 19 for 30pts
Boris = 6 for 2pts
Kwa-Man = 13 for 12pts

Of course we didn't have a full roster so the numbers are skewed.

Watching Portland game and seein gWallace in a suit on there bench is liek a dagger to the heart. This has been rough for me, and I was a supporter of the trade and love what i see from this team. Hearing comments and such just really makes you feel wierd as a Bobcats fan. But hey, there is reason to be excited about the future. Like I have siad many times now, DJ/Hendo/Thomas is a core i feel very good about building around. Then your taling about adding in a copule role players in Liv, White/Cunningham,Kwame, and 2 first rounders plus possibly using some of the cap space, and we COULD be on our way to being BETTER than we were just last week. BUT we have to play this right. I hate that people just assume that we will screw it up, wait until it actually happens then talk. I think the game tonight shows that maybe, just maybe, they know exactly what there doing. Can't wait to get White and Cunningham in here and limit Diaw's minutes. Pryz would also be nice if he ever decides to play.

He did a good job of not picking up fouls. He's good at denying post position early, but dalembert was facing up all night and scoring the "not quite midrange" j. Can't do too much about that. Offensively... did I mention he defended pretty well?

Great to finally see the team live again! DJ is waaaay fast, jax jabbing at the refs is more annoying than expected. Boris is still Boris.

Can't wait to see Boris' minutes brought down to a minimum in favor of White, Cunningham, and Najera.
