Partial explanation for Dray?

Blatche said he's giving maximum effort, and is actually playing through a good deal of pain.
That pain? A shoulder injury suffered a week and a half ago that's bad enough to cause a lot of pain after 30 minutes of working out, according to Blatche. He also still has knee stiffness that flares up from time to time.

Just a bunch of excuses from a loser. Dray has no stiffness in his knees or shoulder pains when he goes out to party after almost every game. His reputation as one of DC's biggest club whores is so bad that some of my friends who aren't even NBA fans know who this clown is.

Whether or not he revive's his game from late last season at some point this year, I could care less. I'm done with this bum.

He might have all the talent in the world to be an all-star caliber player one day, but it's clear he'll never have winners intangibles or a winners mentality. He's not a kid any more, no more excuses. He's been in the system for 6 years now. Enough's enough. He's likely never gonna get it. And if he does, it won't be here. Let's move on.

His stubbornness in atleast acknowledging his poor play throughout the season makes him hard hard guy to root for. If we're taking the rebuild seriously and trying to establish a winning culture, then he needs to be traded plain and simple. The guys just not a winner.

At this point, I could care less if we lose out on talent when/if we trade him, just bring in workhorses who come to fight every game and understand what it's all about. Like most have said, when (or if) we eventually turn the corner in the next couple of years, it's hard to imagine Dray being apart of it.

I think Flip is Andray's enabler. That's the guy who wants Andray to try and be KG.

There's nothing wrong with Blatche that less minutes and a winning coach who demands that Andray plays fundamentally sound, unselfish basketball could not cure. I would wait out Flip's stay before moving Blatche because Andray is productive for his salary.

Dray's response to a hurt knee and shoulder is to dribble *more*?

Will Dray ever be a super star. The answer is no because he just isn't athletic enough. He has a few physical traits that are above average but there is not one physical attribute about him that is outstanding. Dray is a starter in this league but not much more than that. The only area is see Dray maybe become outstanding at is if he is able to maintain he body weight and strength but double how explosive he is while driving. If he somehow develops a track burst off a pump fake, and then be able to come to stop on a dime and then explode again he might become an allstar. Last year he showed a little bit of that ability where he would drive the lane and stop and powerforwards could stop their momentum to keep up with him, and then he was able to explode again immediate. His shot is definitely off. It appears that he doesn't practice a moving forward jumper deep on the baseline while being contested. Maybe his bigman coach gets a broom and puts in his face or something.
He definitely needs a hook shot in the post.

Dray can not carry this team. No one on this team at the moment is close to an allstar and John Wall has at least 2 season and a new brand of shoes before he can be even mentioned in the same breath as derrick rose.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Meh, I don't think Blatche was that bad tonight. He shot 10-17 and took it to the basket on almost every possession in the 2nd half. He took his usual allotment of terrible shots, but I expect that at this point.

Blatche has been Amazingly Sucky on many a night, but tonight wasn't one of them.

I hate his on the court demeanor. I hate how stupid he plays.

When I imagine a winning team, I see no spot on it for a loser like Blatche. I have not disliked a player as much as him since Etan Thomas when he was stealing minutes from Haywood.

What in the hell is this crap? Really? Man really.

The fans who defend this moron are crazy. No wonder Barry won twice in this city.
I can't wait to see him off of this team.

I'd rather give him the Eddy Curry treatment.

I believe him when he says he got hacked. Even though he hasn't played well this season and multiple fans have criticized him, he's said all the right things and has had some surprisingly nice reactions. I find it hard to believe that he would just have a crazy outburst like that on Twitter, which he barely uses btw.

He went on the radio to defend himself a month or two ago when he felt that fans were criticizing him unfairly.

He's a loser.

i would like for everyone to use there brain for a moment im hardly on here why would i wanna be on twitter in miami i tweeted 33 things"

Yea, people, use your brains. Why would he be on twitter in MIAMI when they have an amazing night club scene where its always warm and you can party literally all night? Doesn't make sense.

At least that is how it sounded when I read it.

Not sure exactly what type of injury he has but i strained my rotator cuff this time last year and it is still a big problem. I have had 2 cortisone shots which have helped some but if i tried to play basketball i wouldn't be able to take any contact on it at all.

Just guessing, but I doubt you're a professional basketball player. It's sorta in his best interest to proactively care for his body given his chosen line of work.
