Thank you Nazr, Derrick, Dominic, Sherron

Post#1 » by doc.end » Fri Feb 25, 2011 10:13 pm

I just thought such a thread should be started as we should not forget our other player losses although these are bit of in a shade of loss of Crash.

some of them didn't play a lot but were good guys to have around.

Hopefully we get collins and brown back though. Like, tomorrow or so.

Nazr was a cool cat that might come back to Charlotte this off-season (we'll have the money).

Brown, Collins, and McGuire were all LB guys. I doubt any of them return but I'm sad that I missed out on ordering my custom Sherron Collins jersey. :(

Depending on what we do, I could see one of those three coming back for the rest of this season. I think we'll sign a center (probably a D-League guy) and use the last space to bring one guy back. My bet would be on Collins.

It's gotta be collins. Livo's robo knee is dangerous.

Well as long as we have only one traditional SF in Jackson I could see UPS getting another chance. But now we have flexibility to fill that spot so who knows.

I will miss Nazr tweets like this recent one:
My son asked the nanny "can we trade nannies too". He said he heard they had good nannies in #OKC lol. Where did we find this kid. #CrazyKid

I don't see why both wouldn't be resigned. Mo pete and marks are both gonna be waived. So we keep Pryz, dante, and dj white? That would mean we only have to waive one guy from our old roster. That would be Dmac.

Well we needed to get rid of all three to make room for incoming players. If we cut some of those incoming (as we do - Marks and Peterson) then we have roster spots to sign someody including Brick, Tank or UPS.

I think we leave Brick out there. He's done some cool things for us and he's relatively young at 25, but I don't like him.

Brick have s hot of being picked up by Blazers, they are super thin under the basket and although they need centers more, they need PFs too. They just have to wit till the trade is completed and they get two roster spots.

He got cut from a Chinese team a while back. There might be a reason Tank beat him out for a roster spot, you know.

Nazr was a good soldier, and Dom would be a very serviceable wing if had anything resembling a jumpshot, his work ethic was crescent fresh.

He will very probably rejoin the team for the next game. It was just trade play that made it necessary.

Well, why not? I think it's a fair question. He's already got a decent catch and shoot midrange game, and athleticism and effort on defense. I think his defense is improving, since he was drafted.

Because he hasn't shown any improvement?
