I counted at least for times Wesley Johnson leading the fast break and not receiving a pass... Luke preferred to take contested lay ups or whatever...

I am on the same side. Why was Telfair on the bench inactive?

its not too soon for Flynn to start thinking about how he won't be in the NBA after his rookie contract at this rate

Is Flynn the biggest point guard bust of the last decade? Of all time?

We should've never drafted a guy that is best at running P&R if we don't run that at all.

Jay Williams, TJ Ford, Shawn Livingston, Dajuan Wagner were big disappointments. Considering that Flynn wasn't nearly injured enough like few of these guys, yes Flynn could top this list.

Well Jay Williams, TJ Ford, Dajuan Wagner were all relatively long in the league and Shawn Livingston would've been a freak if it wasn't for his injury. :dontknow:

At this point I'd even say it's not out of discussing that Flynn pulls a Joe Alexander. That's how much he's sucking right now.

Hopefully he sees his on court performance as well. :D

No excuses for that guy anymore. Perform or I'm done with him. I've been trying to talk myself into giving him some time but 2/3 of the season are over 1/3 he was injuried and the other 1/3 he just sucked.

To be fair, we didn't know that we would run this offense when Flynn was drafted. Remember that Rambis was hired after Flynn was drafted. We only knew that Kahn said he wanted to run an "up tempo" offense. Flynn would presumable fit better in an up tempo offense that included P&R's. I've been a fan of Rambis's, but would agree with everyone else that he needs to run plays on offense that take into consideration the strenghts of his players.

Flynn won't bust. Worst case scenario is he becomes an above average backup. He just needs to find the right system.

Also, putting up like 14 and 5 as a rookie while running a system you aren't even suited for is very impressive...he just was overshadowed by just about every other PG in the 1st round. It's not his fault other PGs were better, and that doesn't make his performance bad....only bad by comparison.

Now he's dealing with almost being traded, injuries, confidence issues, reading about how much the rubes hate him.....I don't see how anyone could perform under that pressure (unless your name is Jordan).

I wholeheartedly think Flynn will be fine. I don't think he's a bust at all. He had a good rookie year and he has NBA skills. He's just messed up something awful right now. I highly doubt he's out of the league or anything like that. He's bounce back from this sooner or later and wherever he plays he will be ok. Don't know why people act like he's a total bust of a player.

Yea, Pretty much this. He has fallen under hard times. His time here is done. Maybe we can blame that all on him but I can't help but feel like the team failed him in some way too by not playing to his strengths. We broke him down and tried to build him back up in our image but it didn't work. Now he's just broken. Another team will have to build him up again. Kind of like what Darko went through.

I think the team doctors and training staff failed him by declining surgery until pre-season. If it had been taken care of around draft time,...I think we'd be seeing an NBA starter right now instead of 0 points and 3 turnovers in 15 minutes.
