We don't have to trade Milsap. We re-sign Kirlinko and Watson. We draft a shooting guard and we package Bell/Miles for another one!
Remember, we might have Okur back next year healthy!

Jefferson Okur
Milsap FAvors
Kirlinko Haywood Evans
Rookie shooting Guard Traded for shooting guard
Harris Watson #2 pick 2011

Lets not get carried away, Favors is 19.
He wont be ready to be a starting PF for at least 2 or 3 more years.
If he can continue to play like he did last night (favors) then we got an all star PF.

That is my preference. Perhaps package a pick with CJ for a viable triple threat wing scorer who plays decent defense. Keep the front line intact, ditch Memo's contract if possible. Resign AK and Watson. If there are no takers for CJ, do not pick up his option. I know he is cheap, but the disruption he creates with his non-existent basketball i.q. creates no value for the team.

I feel like the Jefferson/Favors combo would be the best to start with. Millsap off the bench would be ideal but if not then you trade Millsap and let AK play the backup 4 (assuming you re-sign him).

Some of you guys seem pretty sure that Millsap will willingly accept a bench role again. The guy has already proven that he can start. That has to be somewhere in his head.

Absolutely right. He's made thinly veiled comments on the subject before too.

I agree with this, if Millsap don't wanna come off the bench then trade him for a SG or SF with long range, AK comes off the bench.

I think the real question is what to do with Okur.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Okur is my boy... it is sad to say that I think the ship has sailed on him.

No question, you keep both Paul and Al, Favors is the future.
The problem that needs to be addressed now is perimeter shooting, we have none.
If CJ could find any type of consistency it would be nice, but i don't see that happening.
We need to make some serious changes this summer, but the bigs seem like the last place that needs it.

Okur still has good value. Lots of teams would snatch him up if he were to become available.

I think the real question here is if you really believe that you can re sing AK or he will be joining Deron in Brookling

I don't think anyone really belibe that we can re sing AK.
